Some of the games on this list are very demanding that we couldn't even maintain 60+ FPS even with DLSS turned on at ultra settings. That is why I've reduced the demanding settings of these games to high or medium while the rest are on ultra to produce stable 60+ FPS at native 1080p resolution (I call them "custom ultra settings" which gives nearly same visuals as ultra but with way better performance and stability). DLSS provides near-native resolution quality while also providing better than native in some games but keep in mind that the performance will be limited by the CPU in some of these CPU-demanding games with DLSS turned on. DLSS is extremely CPU demanding feature so if you're having an 8 or 12 core CPU, you'll get slightly better performance but in my case, my 6 core i5 is facing a slight bottleneck with DLSS. It's not a big issue, because we're getting 99-100% of our GPU at native resolution and even with DLSS it's nearly at 99-100% except some CPU limited games, where it's 80-90% but That is more than enough for a casual gamer. surprisingly, considering its not that expensive in retrospect, its a pretty solid mid level graphic card to start with. i never understood the hate it gets now days but thats just me. though my experience might differ because i run my 3050 with a intel Core i9-13900H with the cpu and graphics card professionally overclocked and liquid cooling system... so my experience probably differs.

This is not really a bad gpu for the price. I have this card and i never had drop under 30fps in any case, mostly 50+fps on maxed out settings. Not to mention i have 1080p monitor 😂 i also have 8gb version.
I use 1440p dlss quality to get even better visuals to performance. I use DLDSR on my 1080p monitor to scale up to 1440p. Then use dlss quality at 1440p to get 970p. So its a bit lower than 1080p but looks better than native 1080p. I run 1440p DLSS Quality + high settings and always get 60 fps average.
Hey I get like 45 fps in Spiderman miles Morales mine is ryzen 7 5000 Rtx 3050 with 8gb ram it's a lap not a PC but for some reason my fps is very less in spider man if you have any suggestions pls do say 🙏
@@josephjalappat8673 The laptop rtx 3050 only has 4GB of Vram(mine is the desktop rtx 3050 that comes with 8GB of Vram) and you said you have 8 GB of ram, spiderman miles morales recommended ram requirements is 16GB. Just put another 8GB ram(is like 15-20 dollars) stick in and run on 1080 medium to high settings that would stop your stuttering in miles morales and increase fps. Also recommend installing it on a ssd. You run out of vram and goes into system ram, since your system ram is too low I recommend at least 16GB so that if you go higher settings you can use your ram as vram when it spills over out of your vram. You can also get these days 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz cl 16 ram kits for 44 dollars.
That 8 gigs of VRAM helps alot, you could probably do some slight 1440p gaming. I was going to get an Acer Predator Orion 3000 Desktop with this setup and a nice 13th gen intel processor for just $679, but i decided nah. You get what you pay for in that case. It just doesn't have the proper cooling imo. So I'll stick with my old PC with the 1660ti in it, my Series X, One X, PS5 and Steam Deck. That's plenty. This is about the best video I've seen though for any graphics card performance, NICE job!!

If you want the best cpu for b450m then see the cpu compatibility for that motherboard and update the bios for the cpu you can get. The best cpu I can get for my asrock b450m steel legend is the ryzen 7 5800X3D.
Its the driver maturity, always when the card first come out it wont perform good but over time with more driver optimization the game will run better.

Do you mean laptop or desktop. The desktop rtx 3050 only comes in 8GB and laptop one is 4 GB only. If you go for desktop get the rx 6600 if its cheaper than the rtx 3050 8GB. Rx 6600 is close to rtx 3060 performance. If its laptop then get the rtx 3050 one.

Any gpu as long as it doesn't hit 90°c you're good anything under 75°c is perfect High 80°c is meh and you should consider but if pass the 90°c that's a real problem and you need to rest it immediately or it will be fried

I ask because I have updated windows 10 latest version latest drivers I always play with vsync activated is that why it has 1-3 crashes is it normal?
@@nahuelcarreti4719 well the stuttering sometimes could be hard to identify it could be the game itself especially if it only happen to that specific game try to switch from direct x 11 to 12 or vice versa if possible (and if it's cracked try another version) Also it could be your hard drive your PC have a rough time switching from your RAM to your Hard drive either your hard drive is slow, Malfunctioning or a malware inside it that make everything slow It could be the RAM itself try switching them It could be your cpu that's not working properly anymore It could be low voltage from your power supply But as i said if it's that specific then it's the game fault maybe it's not even optimized for your system and if it's not 80% it's your Hard drive
It's not bad at all the only reason people hate on it is because it got released after the rest of the 30 series came out so they compare the 3050 with the 3060 and up. I do have to admit tho, almost all the time I have to tweak the settings a lot to obtain the 60 fps at all times while still trying to have a good looking game.

I also have Rtx 3050 with ryzen 5 5600x and I used same settings as shown in this video in rdr 2(As I didn't check other games tull now with those settings as shown in this video) specially but I can't able to achieve those fps with dlss and without dlss..I am getting like 45-47 fps without dlss and 56-59 fps with quality dlss in rdr 2 and my gpu temps are also you touching 90°c in rdr2 with those settings..I don't know why...Please give me solution
You answered your question, high temperature reduces the frequencies of the video card, which is why it does not work at full capacity, take it to the master, let him change the thermal paste and clean it
the rtx 3050 isnt a bad card, it's just too high priced for its value in some areas which is why people hate on it. Where i live it's the best value card out of all other options.

@@MaxXtoxicXx I feel you, I have the rtx 3050 and usually I have to always tweak the settings and lose visuals for the performance which I don't mind but sometimes you have to go that extra step and play on low-med settings to get at least 60fps at all times.

Very capable gpu for 1080p on high and occasionally ultra. Tho you’d mostly use high settings since ultra is more for 1440p

If you want streaming/ recording do yourself a favor and get a 32 gb of ram. A strong cpu would be nice but ram is key

If you want the best cpu for b450m then see the cpu compatibility for that motherboard and update the bios for the cpu you can get. The best cpu I can get for my asrock b450m steel legend is the ryzen 7 5800X3D.

Its the driver maturity, always when the card first come out it wont perform good but over time with more driver optimization the game will run better.

Do you mean laptop or desktop. The desktop rtx 3050 only comes in 8GB and laptop one is 4 GB only. If you go for desktop get the rx 6600 if its cheaper than the rtx 3050 8GB. Rx 6600 is close to rtx 3060 performance. If its laptop then get the rtx 3050 one.

Any gpu as long as it doesn't hit 90°c you're good anything under 75°c is perfect
High 80°c is meh and you should consider but if pass the 90°c that's a real problem and you need to rest it immediately or it will be fried

@@nahuelcarreti4719 well the stuttering sometimes could be hard to identify it could be the game itself especially if it only happen to that specific game try to switch from direct x 11 to 12 or vice versa if possible (and if it's cracked try another version)
Also it could be your hard drive your PC have a rough time switching from your RAM to your Hard drive either your hard drive is slow, Malfunctioning or a malware inside it that make everything slow
It could be the RAM itself try switching them
It could be your cpu that's not working properly anymore
It could be low voltage from your power supply
But as i said if it's that specific then it's the game fault maybe it's not even optimized for your system and if it's not 80% it's your Hard drive

It's not bad at all the only reason people hate on it is because it got released after the rest of the 30 series came out so they compare the 3050 with the 3060 and up. I do have to admit tho, almost all the time I have to tweak the settings a lot to obtain the 60 fps at all times while still trying to have a good looking game.

You answered your question, high temperature reduces the frequencies of the video card, which is why it does not work at full capacity, take it to the master, let him change the thermal paste and clean it

Desktop version is more faster and more future proof than the mobile variant as that only has a 4gb vram on it and the desktop have 8gb worth of vram.
the rtx 3050 isnt a bad card, it's just too high priced for its value in some areas which is why people hate on it. Where i live it's the best value card out of all other options.

@@MaxXtoxicXx I feel you, I have the rtx 3050 and usually I have to always tweak the settings and lose visuals for the performance which I don't mind but sometimes you have to go that extra step and play on low-med settings to get at least 60fps at all times.
