Can you explain what the coax pigtail is for... You have your main coax.... But there is that little 1' pigtail.... What is that for
This antenna uses inductance and capacitance for the tuning system. The stub is the capacitance portion.

Ha ha!! As I put the ladder up and looked at the ice on the roof I thought, hmmmmm, this probably isn't a good idea lol!
I wouldn't of been walking on that roof more like crawl.

Ya, other than the radials on the 5000 they are pretty much the same.
