Thank you man! Ik what you mean cause I’m the same way with the TH-camrs I watch. I haven’t really dove deep into the mechanics, I just learned quick switching combos and the rest I learned from you guys.
Quitting at that double marauder donut arena is so real. And you only having about 100 hours in the game is genuinely quite impressive! 19:14 definitely caught me off guard lmao
You are insane man. I respect you. Playing like a true champion. I just recently played this game and I can tell from my experience even in easy mode this game is really hard. And you are playing in ultra nightmare. Huge respect dude. Welldone
Doom Eternal music hits hard at 3am. Try getting that super shotgun in that rotation when doing your rocket/ scope shot. Also ballistas do increased damage to flying enemies. Shoot a Cacodemon with one arbalest shot and it's put in it's glory kill stagger Shoot a Pain Elemental with two arbalest shots and it's put into it's glory kill stagger or it's just outright killed. Another tip I have is when using your chaingun shield you're able to bash into enemies to stun/ do more damage + you can use blood punch while having it up and being protected. Sometimes the best defense is a aggressive offense
You seem to have a very similar playstyle to mine. I recommend you use flame belch more often and pull out chaingun shield whenever you feel threatened like here 20:05 also when you are comboing something big like a tyrant or a baron you can use meathook to launch yourself in the air and stay there for a second or two to avoid attacks.
As a new player to Doom Eternal, this is really fun to watch! Still getting used to all the swapping and trying to find the best controls for me, nice Video!
You gotta learn to ballista boost and bunnyhop. Pair that with the destroyer blade and you can wipe out arenas as well as escape from getting cornered. Anyhow, nice video. Reminds me of when I was getting used to the game.
Pretty impressive for having your amount of hours. I will say though if you wanna progress through the master levels fast, you should try to beat the game on UN first. That’ll help you build up a lot of game sense and teach you how to play under pressure
Honestly I understand your pain bro like when I played through this Master level for the first time I wanted to commit warcrimes against this game but then I just started to practice the master level on a much less difficulty and I started to get better and I have a nice tip for the marauders best way to easily kill them is that when they are staggered always have a bomb to blow them away anyway this was a stressful episode to watch man 😭🙏
Yeah this level whooped my ass pretty bad, I was tired as shit towards the end and those marauders sealed the deal. Gonna try it again with a more coherent mind lol. I appreciate the marauder tip!
Dudeee I just finished this level yesterday also in nightmare and died a lot in that same part. Two marauders and prowlers going behind your back to block your path was hard af
I tried Taras Nabad on extra life mode, ultra violence. I got about halfway before I died to a double marauder, sadly. It's fun learning the levels in a fresh way! edit: After finishing the video I see we share that same pain.
yeah that why I enjoy the master levels. seeing what they come up with for each room is interesting and dreadful, as well as the pacing being a bit faster. Hope you beat it!
nice gameplay:) also did you know the screat chesse you can do on marauders? the chesse goes as follows, trow a granade on top of the marauder then he will turn around to block it and then just spam lock on missiles and he dies instantly, cool am i right?
Ps: the opening is a bit small, like 1 or 2 frames i belive it's a bit hard, but it's definitely worth it, because you insta kill them. I recommend trying it out for yourself.
The final room in this level has two archvilles behind those orange barriers and two tyrants you have to kill to drop the barriers… and it’s a tiny room. Good luck!
I’m using the Logitech G703, I’ve used it since middle school just buying a new one when the other broke or wore down. I’ve never had a problem with them until this one I bought a week ago and I haven’t figured out what it is.

I agree. 2016 was very good but I but I felt the difficulty was way off. I remember wanting to switch to nightmare but couldn’t because ultra violence just wasn’t difficult enough.
I just beat taras nabad master level on nightmare mode earlier today, it was HELL, I spent 4 hours trying to beat it because of the vault part, the 2 archviles behind the orange wall, and the last part with 2 maurauders, barons and doom hunters, and the fog, it was painful but very fun
You got any tips for Doom, ive played it for a long time but im just learning to quick switch and I play it on a Nintendo switch. So yeah, its pretty tough for me
couple of tips id give would be to work on your movement if you haven't already. Meat hook is very good for flinging out of tough situations and bunny hopping after will keep that momentum. plus being in the air is a lot harder for the demons to hit. Utilize your equipment as much as possible if you don't. For quick switches I would load into exultia with infinite ammo and idkfa cheat code to practice combos and get used to the rhythm and that helped a ton.
I appreciate it! it looks complicated but if your experienced in fps games then you can pick up the mechanics pretty quick. Id recommend watching videos on quick switching and movement. Those two will help your playstyle a lot!
good shit man you'll get it soon! I finished Taras Nabad today and my god was it a pain in the ass, I don't think I could even attempt an ultra nightmare on that

Not trying to sound rude, I just play this game a fuck ton. I’m sure you being tired doesn’t help, but whenever double marauder spawns they must be killed for the arena to move to the next wave, the only enemies that’ll die in an area with double marauder is super heavies. Work on your enemy management too never push a shield no matter what even with a chainsaw on deck. Once you learn how arenas work this game is cake. Another thing I think there’s a setting you turn on and it puts your consumables up by your crosshair (beltch, grenade sword & chainsaw) helps a lot. Use your beltch frequently. If it is recharged it should be used (unless full health). Idk if you have it on by use the rune that increases in air speed. These are crutch in my opinion especially if you want to start doing the fly around play style.
You're good I appreciate criticism. I understand the wave wont move until I kill them Ill just get extremely passive because I hate fighting double marauders and get to scared to commit then ultimately die. I will say tho in my new run I did a lot better with handling them. I'm learning the hard way about the shields because their shotgun will absolutely shred and Ill try to focus more on the heavier demons rather than the fodders so much. I didn't know you can change your consumables to the crosshair so I appreciate that a lot. I try to remember my flame belch as often as I can and I'm sure that setting will help and I have the in air rune equipped. Thank you for taking the time to comment this!
@@Hambubger8405 a couple other nuance tips I just thought up. Single Dash when feet are on ground it’s faster. Double Dash when in air. Use alabaster mod for ballista, destroyer will only get you killed. On top of that, start learning how to ballista boost in fights. I’ve found it most effective when meat hooking a fodder for shield then flicking to next target w/ ballista & then you need to pull your analog back or press your back key while in air before firing and it’ll launch you super fast. In that motion I’ll precision bolt/ballista combo bigger enemies. You’ll literally melt them. Grenades and rockets detonated behind Marauders while the shield is up will put them into a stun just light other demons in the game. This has to be timed like near perfectly to work btw. I’ll edit this post if anything else pops up not only for you, but anybody that’s trying to get better.
