last night i hit a 4 of a kind with pair 9's in hand loaded up 3 across the board for a total bet of 50x40 to 1 2000 dollar winner had 2 full houses a stright and a flush both 5 cards played 11 hours I also play the 3 card boneus every hand
Mississippi stud is honestly a game that you have to buy in at like at-least 300-500$ to win anything, you will go through dead hand after dead hand, be chasing straights, chasing flushes, honestly I know the "Odds" are only like 2.8% in the casino's favor, but in a real world scenario I think playing slots would actually be better than stud. Don't get me wrong, if you high a flush, three of a kind, ext, you can really bank it out. The problem is you're going to spend most of your time chasing straights, and flushes that never seem to come.
Its the fact that after you know you've won you can massively increase the bet that makes this game worth it. $5 ante til you get a pair them triple on all your bets, hit 3 of a kind one time walk away
First time I played this in Cherokee I lost $350 in 30 min chasing flushes n straights never won a hand . Went upstairs to play Texas Holdem bought in for $200 m won $900 within hour n half . Got up n cashed out

There is a reason why they call these games "Carnival games" in the casino and also why a casino like Agua Caliente wants to make a video to show you how to play the game... it may be easy to learn and not intimidating to play, but it's a sucker bet nonetheless

Just a variation of the played out Let it Ride game. Just like when you watch poker on television you will get dealt a lot of two card garbage. You're then chasing it with the three community cards.

I have been playing this game for many years now, and I will say this: the odds are terrible but the payouts are great. This video is probably the worst video I've ever seen about this game. There was no explanation at all about when to play, when to fold, etc. The 3-card bonus bet is never below $5 minimum (except at an Indian Casino like this one) and should be avoided. Most casinos offer a $1 progressive bet that pays out for any hand of 3-of-a-kind or better. This bet should be played.
For hand - K 9 8 8 8 is a Three of a Kind, hence the ante got paid 3x1 and not even money if you observe carefully. Where as the other hand - K K 8 8 8 is a Full House, and got paid 10x1 which is correct

Once you got the pair of 8s triple down on everything you don't wait it's an automatic push you can't lose.

The table I play the dealer doesn't mind a max-bet on a pocket "push" pair.
I learned how to play this in one night put my last 40 dollars down and went up close to 300

Why is she sizing into reds with greens? You're not supposed to even do that in the first place.
Because thats how she decided to pay. They might be low on red chips and wanted to give out some as greens. It's how most casinos do it.
