Think about it: Reyes is on a killing spree seeking revenge, Jack is on a killing spree seeking some sort of redemption, and Moira does inhumane experiments for the advancement of science. Junkrat doesn't have a grandiose reason for doing what he does. He literally went on a worldwide heist, getting past even the most secure of banks and financial institutions, probably killing hundreds because there's no way that there wasn't any human collateral damage when you use as much explosives and reckless abandon as he does. And he does all this.....for what? Spite. He literally robbed most if not all of the world's richest banks, casinos, and other financial institutions (which I doubt any large-scale criminal organization can even brag about). With just one henchman (apparently, Junkrat hired Roadhog). All just to spite the "Boss" of Junkertown, a nobody settlement in the ruins of Australia. You have to understand just how insignificant Junkertown is in the grand scheme of things in the world of Overwatch. And despite being a nobody town, Junkrat did one of the most noteworthy criminal feats that the world will ever know, all to spite that nobody town's leadership. Now you might be saying that robbing banks in general isn't worse than mass killings. Well, let me put it this way: Junkrat did all THAT for such a petty reason as to spite a relatively insignificant person in the world of Overwatch. Imagine what he would do for something like revenge.....

Fun movie fact: this film depicts Junkrat and Roadhog pushing a cart to an objective. This proves that it is purely a work of fiction as only the support players care enough to push the payload.
I like to think Junkrat is the type of Aussie who's all like, "The wildlife here isn't that bad, you're exaggerating," and then Roadhog shows up and proves him wrong with his mere presence.
Everything about this is absolute perfection but im just blown away by Junkrat's facial expressions! Watching him talk and parade around is mesmerizing! On a side note, the amount of patience Roadhog must have is the most superhuman thing in the entire setting.

its not exactly a cinematic. it looks like a quick but well made advertisment for the new map wit using the In-game character models(or the same structure) . the cinematics use totally new models, thats why they take long and look more impressive. I just want Overwatch to keep making more of this with Junkrat and Roadhog. i really enjoyed it.

I really wish that blizzard made more animations like this. Having a sense of humor with characters always makes them more likable. Rather than the other animated shorts that are still amazing. But are severely lacking in humor, which just makes all animations better.

I can't really think of any other character who can have a short where the entire thing is meant to be funny. Not saying it can't happen, but I'd prefer action packed ones for non-funny characters :)
McCree's was also pretty funny in its own way. The purposefully cliché western setup, Ashe's over the top acting and Bob's friendliness contrasting with that

Everything about this is absolute perfection but im just blown away by Junkrat's facial expressions! Watching him talk and parade around is mesmerizing! On a side note, the amount of patience Roadhog must have is the most superhuman thing in the entire setting.

This was made by the team who made in-game cinematic of WoW, so they directly used the real model from the game.

its not exactly a cinematic. it looks like a quick but well made advertisment for the new map wit using the In-game character models(or the same structure) . the cinematics use totally new models, thats why they take long and look more impressive. I just want Overwatch to keep making more of this with Junkrat and Roadhog. i really enjoyed it.

I really wish that blizzard made more animations like this. Having a sense of humor with characters always makes them more likable. Rather than the other animated shorts that are still amazing. But are severely lacking in humor, which just makes all animations better.

@@norlicedej7981 yeah I was gonna say, not every character in overwatch is funny. Junkrat's character design is meant to be humorous. I can't really think of any other character who can have a short where the entire thing is meant to be funny. Not saying it can't happen, but I'd prefer action packed ones for non-funny characters :)
McCree's was also pretty funny in its own way. The purposefully cliché western setup, Ashe's over the top acting and Bob's friendliness contrasting with that
The ultimate humorous short would have baptiste, lucio, sombra, ana, bastion, junkrat and roadhog all on one mission together
