What a wonderful bike. 03 katana 600, beats my brother’s lighter 06’ ninja 650. Just a special bike, love its weight at speed and how well the fairing mitigates wind noise. All i need for fun. Thank you suzuki, i feel like ill be a suzuki guy for life after how easy my maintenance has been to learn on this bike
I paid $2,800 cash for my Katana, Vance & Hines exhaust, braided front lines, ebc pads, Dunlop in the back, Metzler up front and a stage 3 jet kit that smoked 1000's, I put over 100k miles on my first bike
true. the cylinders are sleeved down and the cams and carbs are smaller. but the gsxr750 and 1100 engines will bolt directly in. so will the bandit 600 and 1200 engines.

I heart my Katana. Unloved and disrespected by haters, it's still a great bike even today.

The older 90's Katanas were way sporty. Those are so sick. I owned a 2004 Kat, its a squishy sport tourer. You can still ride it hard.

I bought a brand new one in 1988 for $5000 , watched in come in a crate and get put together....man i miss that bike.
I can't' count the # of times I've read or felt the same way about bikes I've sold. Wish I hever would've sold my Buell Firebolt.
