HairCut Harry, you used Pinaud Aftershave Loation. Really excellent choice. The smell on that can last for most of the day after you apply it to your face. I bought the 12.5 oz bottle. That stuff is affordable and it works decently.

I've been going to Matt for almost 3 years now. Didn't know he had this video until today, and I can confirm that he is truly the best at his profession, always gives what you ask for, and his care for his customers is unquestionable. Anybody in the Phoenix area should definitely go to him, but be patient because he usually does have a long line of customers waiting unless you get lucky. (by the way his barber parlor is way cooler than what is shown on the video, filled with comic memorabilia, always playing a good movie while you wait, and even has a life sized batman as well.) 100% recommend checking him out!!
This barber gets an A+ from me. Courteous, attentive, professional, competent. A quiet shop with no radio blaring, no people talking or walking back and forth. Wish he was near me!

I keep returning to this episode for several reasons. I love how polite he is. I love the Stress Busting device, and I love the sloshing noise of the aftershave at 11:00 I like how it's applied to the sides and back of the hair, old style! One of the best episodes on TH-cam! 🖒🖒🖒
Barber has an outstanding approach to customer service. It'd seem false in Britain but seems natural from this guy. It's "different" but not "strange" how the barber seeks consent for every action he takes. I get a sense of utter relaxation watching these videos. Keep up the channel!
Thanks J Coogan , Yes to most people from the UK the initial reaction to USA customer service is that it is fake ... but the bottom line is that irrespective of the business, they want a happy repeat customer. I do not know if you have watched the interview with Matthew, but he talks about his style of customer service as a cooperative effort :-)
So nice to see young barbers trying to keep alive, if not bring back, the old school of how a men's barber used to operate and how their shop was decorated. I liked the video, really a classy one.
I just saw that! If you want to know what they might be from first sight I think the green one is Jeris Hair tonic, yellow might be lucky tiger, and the red one kind of looks like clubman. But that is guessing, they kind of look like hair tonics!

I've seen a lot of your videos. And I think this by far this is the only barber who I think nailed the haircut that fits you. Lookin like a new man after the cut! And that is what distinguishes a good barber from a MASTER barber. Once they flip that chair around and you see how you look, completely changes your mood. Then on top of that, the customer service, the attention to detail, his politeness, his whole demeanor is just truly masterful, kinda makes you feel like you went back in time. I just went to Matt for the first time today and I've been watching this video and the related shave video since it first appeared in 2014. He's as talented as this video advertises. Also, he's super relatable and kind. I needed a barber who could step up to the task of getting me and my groomsmen looking sharp for my wedding. "Overdelivered" is an understatement. He's a little far from where I live but was wholly worth the drive. I am sold and know I need to make the excursion regularly.
Customer service is a great Strength to have! This industry truly lacks customer service, to much ego. Make your customers feel welcomed, guarantee they’ll always return! I been cutting for over 10 year now, When I first started cutting hair I obviously wasn’t the best, But i alway made myself approachable & non-intimidating, I always stayed busier than the more experience Barbere‘s. Clients love the vibe I gave out over my talent. Now I’m experience barber and continue to provide the outstanding customer service. Glad I came across this video. To see like minded barbers

Yep was watching Harry's new video a couple days ago and had to check out some of the classic Harry vids also as a holiday treat to myself 😀🎁This and the video with Angel will always be right up there on my favorites. But I was just wondering if that vibrating massager he puts on his hand might cause damage to his hand over time. I mean if he uses it about 6 times a day or more it might. IDK. Since your first visit, I too have visited Mathew twice. Once for hair,once just for shave. He is one cool cat. I gave up my hottie russian lady barber as she may have been easier on the eyes but ol Mathew "HE'S THE MAN" when it comes to getting it right.

Since your first visit, I too have visited Mathew twice. Once for hair,once just for shave. He is one cool cat. I gave up my hottie russian lady barber as she may have been easier on the eyes but ol Mathew "HE'S THE MAN" when it comes to getting it right.
