They Daft Punk’d Daft Punk, out-Eltoned Elton John, and while they didn’t depose Queen, they did take advantage of Freddie being absent from her throne. I’d also posit that they disturbed Disturbed, and Tears for Fears fears them, but I’m not in those band’s heads (as much as Pentatonix was seemingly in Daft Punk’s). Any others we want to call out? They slayed Imagine Dragons?
This performance really highlighted every member. Recommend their Come Along, Shallow, Say Something, Rather Be, and Seasons Of Love (televised version).
Elton John is indeed a legend, but he's one voice. These are FIVE. They kind of have the advantage vocally. Of course Elton can play piano like nobody's business but it's really not fair to compare the two. I love both versions, but when Pentatonix covers a song, they ALWAYS bring their "A" game.
I’ve been trying to figure out Who you remind me of and it finally happened. I watch a TH-camr named Kim Whisk. She’s got four children and you two look like you could be sisters.Her channel is called The Wads, and she’s a kick to watch. Loved yet another PTX reaction of yours. I love the sound *and* the look on this one. Kirstin is gorgeous, Kevin is really suited by that leopard print, Matt and Scott are very handsome, and I think this was Mitch's most elegant look. I saw a snippet of video where they were first playing around with this, and Kirstin did that first key change. Scott was like, "Yeah! I like that! Let's do another one!" And they did. Twice.
You hit one of my top 3 videos of PTX, this just has everything! Yep definitely shifts me back to the movie. Loved the reaction. That heavenly choir section in the middle is unreal. Huge props to Matt, his bass line was crazy!!!
