The way the second caller prefaced the story by saying how much of an ally she is and then felt the need to investigate whether someone is trans or not and also refused to call the gf a woman or use she/her when referring to her. “The partner” “this person” “they” like girl come on you clearly need to look inwards 😭

I was so glad to see all the comment about the second caller. I was just completely thrown off from the whole call, repeatedly misgendering the women, and the part “saw a bulge” that is so inappropriate and just straight WEIRD. Chris, I am alittle disappointed you didn’t clock that girl for being disrespectful and slightly transphobic sounding.

The second story is actually incredibly gross and strange. "internet sleuthing" to tranvestigate someone. repeatedly calling her a guy. talking abt it to multiple people, and putting her business on the internet over what the simple fact that shes trans!!?

My family drama? My uncle married this women and had a kid with her. He went missing back in like 2005 and no one knew anything. Then in 2011ish we had the authorities contacts us that his skeleton and dental records matched an individual found in a mineshaft. Once it’s 2016ish, my father is now married to this women (mother of my cousin, his own nephew) and raises my cousin, his nephew as his own kid basically. Oh also my dad married my mom, and then the same uncle married her sister, my aunt. No, im not from Alabama. Oklahoma tho lmfaooooo
And they think his death had something to do with the Cartel. And thats on family trauma 💫

Story number 2 was a huge turn off for me for the reasons already mentioned in the comments. I got kind of annoyed at him for not calling her out but also I get it is a difficult / awkward position as she’s your fan and supporter. I turned off the episode then came back again later because I love Chris and couldn’t help it. Girl number 3 I could barely understand at all and from what I did understand I didn’t care about her long droning story. I am really missing episodes where we get to hear more from you Chris! Maybe not the old format entirely but at least some of your own words instead of just random folks’ stories…

The second story…. She spotted a trans woman in a social setting and went out of her way to “sleuth” on her social medias to confirm her suspicions. Then she took it a step further and outed said trans woman to her husband and In-laws in the name of protecting her and to avoid drama when she wasn’t asked to do so. If she was truly an ally she would do so quietly and when asked. she could have called out the brother in laws behavior in front of the girlfriend and proved herself to be trust worthy. An ally doesn’t have to prove they’re an ally and they most certainly don’t call into a podcast and describe a trans woman’s existence as “family drama”. I hope you’re watching this video and reading the comments and I hope you take this as an opportunity to look inward and evaluate why you felt the need to do these things.
