    I loved doing this one and succeeded!. The other week I tried to paint and had no concentration and got upset. But I changed rooms to do this in, quieter at the back and managed it.

    Stephen, I’ve learned a great deal from you about colour mixing and the way you paint sunsets is wonderful. Thx 😊

    Hello Steve. I'm an 81 year old artist who only now discovered your tutorials. I've painted on/off most of my life but have struggled most of that time. Your tutorials are a great motivation & help but I get lost sometimes finding parts of multi-part tutorials. Is there a "road map" to help me join up the parts? OR is there a sequence to be followed to enable me to progress from simple to advanced?
    Thanks

      Hello my friend... the easiest way to follow different parts is at the video of part 1 you will see the next part on the screen for you to click on...it comes up just before the end of the video...i dont have an easy to advanced sequence as every week i like to try something different. Sometimes difficult somerimes easy but its a good idea to create a playlist for beginners and perhaps more advanced artists. Thank you very much for the idea...

      thank you. It's possible to see some of my work by googling "artbykenb" & clicking on the images tab.

    Hi Stephen, another great easy to follow demonstration and a great painting. May I just ask, when you say, at the beginning, that you’ll just dampen your brush, do you mean with turpentine or with your turpentine/linseed oil mix (which I believe I once heard you say is an 80/20 mix)? Thanks.

    • @EasyOilPainting
      @EasyOilPainting  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you my friend. Yes thats correct. I use my thinners to dampen my brushes. Turps with a little linseed oil mixed in.

      Thanks for your reply, mate. Just so I’m clear, are you saying you dampen the brush with just turpentine or with the turpentine/linseed oil mix? Or are you using something completely different for your thinners? Thank you, again.

    I forgot to ask, would you sell it to me? I would pick it up when I am in Cork in July‘24. Thank you.

    May I ask what you use for a pallet because I have some offcuts of a plastic called hygiene clad and think that would be suitable

    • @EasyOilPainting
      @EasyOilPainting  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I use a white ceramic tile for youtube but i also use a wooden palatte....i think plastic clad will work very nicely
