- Tourney season is slowing down, but I'm still chasin as many as I can! Thomas from @fishingthedmv invited me to fish a Veterans Day tournament at Lake Anna and it turned out to be way bigger than expected. Had a great time fishing with my buddy Thomas, and he was clutch when we needed it! Hope you guys enjoyed, see ya soon.

Is there anyway you can record the livescope screen would love to see what you see mainly the swimbait eats
Unfortunately with the echomap ultra (that I have) it’s not possible to screen record. The GPS map head units can do it. Super super lame move by Garmin. Luckily the brand new echomap ultra 2’s have the capability. Hoping to get a gpsmap 8600 series soon to be able to screen record.
Usually when I watch; I’m wishing I was there too. But not when it’s that f-ing cold. That’s when I’m glad I can watch from home. Ha! always nice to get a limit - nice stuff. I really appreciate that you show your retrieve style and not just the hook ups.

That time of year, somewhere in between transitions -- makes things a lil funky and the the fish finicky. Limit had, so ya got somewhere about the middle (better than)... so that's a positive! Let's Gooooooo!!!! Be Safe

I agree definitely was a big turnout I was there boat number 64 in the third wave. Only had two good fish the whole day spent most of the day throwing the drop shot. Sick to see you out there the same time as myself small world and love the content man!

You got to get that hook set under control. You need to feel set with the finest. Just lean it back man.
I'm a pretty hard hook setter myself. I used to break off at least twice a trip at a minimum and I was using 17-20 lb test line. I started looking for new knots and came across the "Double San Diego Knot". I've been using the knot for a few years now, and can honestly say that I haven't broken off but twice since, but it was my fault for not re-doing my knot after catching several fish. Good luck and thank you for your videos. I really enjoy them.
I use the same knot! It’s a great knot, I honestly think I had a bad run of line I didn’t notice.
Great knot. I switched to it myself this past summer. Aka double pitzen knot.
Orvis Becker knot is the most simple yet strong knot I've ever found. Literally the only knot I use. Check it out

Here it’s high 30’s in morning and afternoon it got to 59deg but if you stay in 1 spot didn’t move felt like summer I was literally sweating that doesn’t happen this time of year in upper eastern U.S unless it’s just me it was strange for sure!

How useful do you find the 360 with livescope? Were you looking at both?
I didn't utilize it much because this was my first time fishing with it. That being said, Thomas pointed out some grass, rocks, brushpiles, etc and I can absolutely see how using it alongside FFS is a deadly combo.

I know your pretty good with FFS and I enjoy watching you use it but I’d like you to check out Russel Marine’s video on the cone angle of FFS and see what you think. A lot of times you seem to be watching that fish chase down your bait maybe your conditions are perfect for such a thing but I thought their video kinda explained how hard that can be 👍👍👍👍 great video too !
I posted on Instagram about it 2-3 days ago! GREAT video. They did a phenomenal job of visualizing the cone and explaining how something 45’ out can be 12’+ from your bait.
