Maybe I’ve watched too many sb fishing vids but I have noticed a bit of a classic curse. You have had some miserable first days over the years. It makes your recent classic victory along with the high finish this year so much more awesome. Congrats.

In my opinion last place is better than second or third from my own experience of losing atleast 70 k being In Second or third instead of first . Usually second or third happens by one or two mistakes over a season or tournament day . Great learning experience though that’s for sure

Fishing fans should definitely check out a channel called "Dung Girl Fishing"; a young, beautiful Vietnamese gal who uses what amounts to a cane pole and catches loads of big catfish, carp, tilapia, snakeheads and piranha. Amazing skill and tenacity.

I've done this before except with chatterbaits. I literally had the same fish break me off twice in 2 casts in the exact same spot. After the first break off I checked my line, took off about 6 inches that had some tiny knicks, re-tied a new chatterbait, gave it a good tug to make sure I was good, made my cast, got back to the same spot as before and the fish came flying out of the cover grabbed the chatterbait and SNAP! Gone... Both times right at the knot, no clue why and it was only like an 10 inch fish
