i bought my mk7 GTI for 13,800 64k miles DSG (Rare Navy Blue) and i absolutely love it. If anyone wants to get one go out and buy it. Its cheaper on insurance than the golf R and faster if you go stage 1 remap to 310hp on a roll. Really clean interior too and looks amazing for a 2013 car. I've had a lot of electronic issues with it such as headlights and sensors. Would recommend buying one through a dealer for that 3 month warranty.
They are great cars. Make sure you find a well maintained one and check it properly. Quite reliable too. Mine was R Tech Stage 2 and I still averaged 40mpg on regular journeys. Would happily buy one again.
I love mine, had it for about 7 months but in that time I’ve had to have suspension fixed, headlight washer fixed, cruise control recalibrated, and now I have an oil leak in the gearbox. Either the previous owner was reckless or these cars are just weak
@@ragensf think I had the exact same knocking noise as you😂whatever it was it was fixed on my warranty but this gearbox oil leak is gonna be a rather expensive fix
EA888 wel maintained are beast engines, only thing that always goes is the water pump sooner or later, but this isn't costly en well known around the VW community. Even with stage 2 they are solid as can be.
Mine was out of action for 13 months until we got a refurbished part - final bill was £3000. Mine is a regular VW with a dq200 gearbox. If only I’d known….

@@afzalahmed3616 stage 1 is pre ready by manufacture VW there no risk for dsg just don't forget to change oil that all*

Yeah great cars these all round, but somtimes you can pick up a dodgy one
@@ragensf bad previous ownership does that.
Apparently not. You say never again. So I guess we have your opinion
What type of milage would you say go for if you wanna keep it long term and do about 10-15k miles a year?
Could do 30k easily in these mate, depending what mileage you get on them. Normally they’re very good reliable cars.
