jacob joining with dash to troll jo is like when the gym teacher joins in the dodgeball game to tip the scales, but in this situation the gym teacher joined the already winning side and gave a kid a concussion

He didn't, the only revival coffin is the one before the boss. That was just a slave coffin. You can see that his ghost never disappeared for proof.
Side Note: The timer is 3 minutes, and -30 sec for each dead or cursed player.
So yeah 2 minutes.

8:15 The extra health came from the Royal Jelly in the present in the shop.
Fun fact: if you need to bring a turkey up a rope, get off of it and pick it up, then carry it up the rope and ride it again, you don't need to use a bomb. This works for doors too. Also, if it dies, you can blow it up for extra health.

I'm glad that you guys are playing this game more. It's one of my favorite games and it's honestly a shame that it's not as well known and played in the TH-cam community
I still haven't forgotten when Alpharad made two main channel videos about it, claiming he was going to upload a ton of content for it two years ago when it released.

If they did basically anything differently they would've been fine
ayo as someone struggling with this game as well here's some tips
1. Player Ghosts can blow away the big ghost
2. shops on 1-2 can be stolen from and if you don't hurt any shopkeepers by the time you get to 1-4 your forgiven
3. dead and cursed PLAYERS make the ghost come 30 seconds faster for each one, but a lucky clover can buy you an extra 2 minutes
also that "YOOOOO" harmony into *silence* broke me
32:42 they would have gotten the kapala here right before Vlad's (aka infinite blood area) but they really wanted that extra 2 health for the team.
correct me if im wrong but i dont think they had any kali favor that run, so the dog woulda just given them a present like climbing gloves

There was Royal Jelly in the present In The shop which you consumed and it gave you 6 hp, you then took one damage, then brought the dog to the exit, which gave you 10 hp.
It would be cool to see them actually try a few runs sometimes trolling could be even funnier on further levels
As someone who has 100 percent-ed every Spelunky game watching these videos brings me great pain
With so many kali altars in this video, I can say with confidence that Jacob is a stronger man than I for not sacrificing Jo and Dash
Hit the shopkeep by placing a rope down and the run the f away, it puts him in hit stun long enough so you can grab everything and escape, it’s so you don’t deal with angry shopkeeps as long sense you know stealing is less sinful then murdering part of their union
Multiplayer games are pretty fun, almost as much as Dash's antiperspirant joke. (best joke in the episode imo)

Actually jacob, the timer for the ghost is when it hits 3 minutes, but every dead/cursed person makes the ghost come 30 seconds sooner

I makes me so proud to see Jo and Dash actually recognizing Spelunk strategy and their mistakes
The goddamn horny toads are easily the single addition that cranks Spelunky 2 up beyond 1 in difficulty. I never found a good way to deal with them and they ended up making most of my runs end in the Caves.
At the end of the video the four leaf clover would have given you 2 extra min before the ghost comes
so glad they've been playing this, it scratches the itch that spelunky on fwob with Don left

As someone who speedruns this game, it's kinda cool how little they know.
I subscribed to Alpharad's channels because of his and Jo's original Spelunky playthroughs and am glad that Spelunky 2 keeps going finally
