I only know of it through chinese manhuas/webnovels and looked into reading it, seems like the original translation from the 1940s is the way to go if you're interested, which cuts out a bunch of the more repetitive/less interesting parts that don't translate so well

I think it's so funny that the plot of this game is that the rabbids are working for the actual buddha because they messed up the plot and now buddha has their washing machine held hostage.
I love that in the hand minigame at the end, Jacob thinks Jo hit him into it because Jo is normally player 2, and player 2 hit him into it, but then he blames player 3, because that player is Jo.
Fun fact: These minigames are actually based off what the monkey King did in the story I think. Stealing and eating all the immortal peaches, having to tend to the horses, writing his name out of the book of death to become immortal again. I don't know them all though because what I know I got from death battle lol
