Perfect Idea; Take the Chang Li and the Change Lii and 1 person. Then do a Premium Gear (Top Gear) challenge type episode. Have the 2 cars compete against a person in like a 100 meter dash or race to the top of a hill. Call the Person competing "Chang Lee". I would love this.
I love how these guys seem so happy and love this vehicle so much even though is insanely unpractical once u factor in shipping costs, and you need to change out seemingly half the car to even make it 5 miles without it breaking 😂
Guys, do us a big favour, and get a $20 carbon monoxide detector for the Chang Lee. The CO should all vent via the exhaust, but you have to factor in that Will installed the heater, plus the possibility of it snowing overnight and blocking the exhaust just might lead to exhaust creeping into the cabin. We don't want to lose you, and I'll send you the $20 if it makes a difference.
It's a diesel heater, not gasoline. Diesel and kerosene produce 20 times less CO than gas. I would be more worried about the gasoline generator they keep running to top up their battery.
Yup. It's always a good idea to run it in atmo for at least 3... 4 hours before actually installing it to let it vent out. Even the quality ones do the same, unless the booklet specifically says that they were pre-heated before being shipped, which some of the top brands in this business do. Decent units for what they do. As long as you feed them clean fuel and clean the guts once a year, they last a ton. I've fitted three on my brother's older farm equipment that never came with factory heating.
"If we bent the axle what are we gonna do... or should we just assume we didn't..." "Just assume we didn't.." "yeah, that's smart.... " as Ethan walks away laughing. This whole episode had me laughing my ass off.

Hearing you guys talk about bending the Chang Lee axel reminded me of when I was an apprentice at Ford Product Development (UK). I was working with a fitter doing chassis distortion test on a 40,000lb dump truck. We jacked up one corner till the opposite wheel was at the point of lifting off the ground, and measured points along the chassis rails to see how much it twisted. At one point the jack slipped off the front beam-axil onto the track-rod, and bent the begezus out of it. I thought we would be in trouble but the fitter removed the track rod and straightened it with the press. We put it back on the truck and said nothing about it. Your half shaft is going to be made of harder steel than a track-rod, and is much more likely to break if you put it under a press, but it might be worth a try.

After a clip of that ..box bouncing off normal tire marks like a ping-pong ball, "This has even better suspension than the old one!" To get a grip: Pull out the stock tires from the stock wheels. Drill 5mm holes in center of every nub you have on the thread, or optionally, 40 holes in four rows 120 in total per tire, overlapping holes so that none of them is in line will give the best result. Insert 35-45mm M6 bolt with 20mm flat washers on both sides and a regular nut. Tight the nut and weld a tap for every nut. This is why no nylocks, the weld is the only way. Can't weld it fully around, this will both burn the tire and ruin the bolt. Just a small tap, with a rapid cool down via compressed air. Add a strip of leather/rubber inside the tire to line those bolt heads, glue it in place with flex seal. You can use an inner tube, but the flex seal and lining should hold too. for maximum grip, screw the tire to the wheel through the bead lip with 15mm long 5-6 mm core thickness screws. Air the tire down, and you can run the Chang-Li up a snowy mountain side and through mud and roots. Bolt tires hold on rocks too for a while until the bolts wear out.
