Realize I’m kinda late to the discussion but I have some thoughts on the subject. To not show, understand or appreciate the process that is to kill an animal, is to disgrace not only the animal and the sustenance it provides, but also the art of hunting. I applaud you for not editing the last moments out. What many fail to realize is the fact that these animals live enormously more enjoyable lives than the animals most of us eat on a daily basis. If you’re going to talk about inhumane then that is the place to start. This is for a fact the most humane and efficient way to harvest an animal. These animals aren’t raised for slaughter which is exactly why taking them down is considered a great feat. Studies have also shown, that animals like elk has way less nerve endings than humans. An arrow entering it’s lungs is something the elk would only feel as a small pinch. The elk is not in pain afterwards either, you can see the way the elk still doesn’t understand what is happening when he attempts to spit and sneeze out the blood that his mouth suddenly is filled with. The animal had a stressless and quick death, which is much more than I can say for most farm-animals, in fact, that’s more than I can say for most humans. In addition I feel it is only fitting to show the whole process when you’re hunting with a bow. A poorly placed arrow can lead to a slow death in which the animal can walk a great distance before dying. Therefore I feel a comfort seeing the animal fall so soon after being hit. Congrats on downing and harvesting this magnificent animal. It was truly a masterful shot.

This should be taken down, there is nothing funny about the death of a beautiful animal.I know it is part of hunting, but we need to show a little more respect for this animal in its final minutes.
Sometimes they go down in seconds sometimes it takes longer. Congrats on a monster bull! Way to try the second shot you did your part. Whether the animal runs out of sight and dies or dies on camera, death is death and never is a pretty thing. What is pretty, is a clean kill, and a freezer full of the best meat in the world. Congrats guys!
The death of any animal is part of what we do as hunters. We have to accept it is part of providing food for our family. Good advice given here in this thread. Edit the video or take it down! Showing the bull struggle and die is not what anyone needs to see.
Their obvious arousal to the sight of the Buck going down is a clear sign of who doesn't respect the concept of of Hunt and everything that comes with it.
Most of us are very insulated from the harshness of death. As stomach churning as this is to watch, the alternative of being violently disembowelled by wolves or a bear would be far worse and likely take even longer.
Beautiful beastie, didn’t help to show the “disturbing “ fight with death. A close up and appreciation after would have been better. Also , no need to cuss .
Hard to watch him suffer at the end for so long but he didn’t go without a fight. Great shot great video. Congratulations on that huge bull. I can’t wait to nail my first bull.
I just got home from an elk hunt, I tell everyone the story up to the shot and leave the after the shot part of the story out, maybe videos would be beneficial the same way. Hunting isn’t a right, it’s a privilege that many want to take away, don’t give them ammo. Congrats on putting food on the table.
If we have no right to that which God gave us, then what do we have a right to? It's in no way a privilege except where the State has usurped it as such.
Beautiful bull fellas..... no tracking involved for that guy! Tough to bleed out, but I've seen animals gunshot that take 3,4,5 rounds to kill & that ain't pretty to watch either!!! Lots of meat! Nice mount!
I like hunting as a proffesion for regulating the system to keep the nature in harmony. But I am always agains the silent bow/crossbow weapons. Hunting only for fun I will never like. Btw this was really nice Lung shot. But good one like that is really rare, and thats the reason why I bow huntery dont like (I saw lot of badly injured animals).... historical ways of hunting must stay in history.... And btw I dont like to keep the poor creature dying for a longer time.

Thats as real as it gets and that's a slammer bull. If you wanna go hunt this what you sign up for. It's not glamorous, if more people showed the reality of hunting instead of the glamorized TV version, We'd have more serious hunters out there and less bros trying to be like Cam Haynes.
Great kill. I'm sure it will be tough to watch for some but this is a reality of bow hunting. You can watch dozens of videos of elk or deer being shot rarely do you get to see all of it like this. My guess is many suffer quite a bit. Reality of bow hunting. They just don't all drop quickly.

I’m a big hunter but this was a little hard to watch. Good elk but I wish it would have been a more effective shot. It was just sad too see it try so hard to survive but at least u didn’t wound him and never find him. All in all great elk buddy
That was about as quick a death as a wild animal can hope for. Although it seemed to take a while to die consider a "natural" death: Being eaten alive by wolves or starving to death would have taken much longer and been more painful. You gave that bull a quick and respectful death. Good work and good shot!
When you hunt any type of animal you must get on one knee and thank God from bringing it to life and may it's soul runs free . future luck and a lifted spirit will guide you and be with you on the next hunt . 🙏🏽❤
Absolutely horrible . I'm a hunter all my life, and y'all let this majestic animal suffer. Plenty of opportunities to get another arrow in him to take him quickly. Learn some ethics.
Only sick individuals enjoy death and filming it. I hunt elk and deer for food.....not the filming of there last seconds of life to broadcast around the world. Yes, death is part of it, and I have harvested numerous elk and deer, but one should honor the animal by keeping its passing between the hunter(s) and the animal. That part should be a private matter.
The shot we'll placed but ya I would have cut out the last bit of the old monarch fighting it. As a hunter myself, I know what happens, you know what happens ,but this could have been shortened for the youbtube surfers. Congratulations on the harvest.

Nice shot, and although nothing was deleted from the video, it was rough to watch that beast fight for life.
Congrats guys!
planet earth in one video.
The death of any animal is part of what we do as hunters. We have to accept it is part of providing food for our family. Good advice given here in this thread. Edit the video or take it down! Showing the bull struggle and die is not what anyone needs to see.
Wow that was one tuff bull.
MONSTER RIGHT!
Congrats to you and your hunt.
I would've let another fly if there wasn't a private boundary nearby. If you spook him at this stage, I'd think he might die faster.
Was that a montec G5? That was impressive pass through.
Their obvious arousal to the sight of the Buck going down is a clear sign of who doesn't respect the concept of of Hunt and everything that comes with it.
For one thats now a buck lmao two its obvious excitement call it what you want... ur a turd
@@DJWooLee55 are you done painting your toe nails young lady boy?
@@DJWooLee55 just as much of a b*tch. Hush now lil fairydust boy
@@davidmena6638 you’re the one clutching your pearls about a dead animal. Go off though baby boy.
Awesome!!! Congratulations
Cám ơn bạn đã chia sẽ cho nhau nhé chúc mừng bạn thành công nhé ❤💗🎆❤💗
Sad to see an animal suffer like that! Congrats on a great bull but possibly think about the animal when you watch this again.
Tremendous heart target shot
Most of us are very insulated from the harshness of death. As stomach churning as this is to watch, the alternative of being violently disembowelled by wolves or a bear would be far worse and likely take even longer.
Beautiful beastie, didn’t help to show the “disturbing “ fight with death. A close up and appreciation after would have been better. Also , no need to cuss .
Какая грациозность,сила,бесстрашие,но в одно и то же время глупость оленя, бьётся из за всех сил......💥💥💥
That's an awesome bull but we did have to see it all on video.
Nice guy shot! The first shot was enough
Well done.thats how we want it everytime
What if someone videos you when you take your last breath
Nice mount!
U should have sent a third arrow
Nice bull
Elk are so freaking tough!
Agreed, great shot placement, both.Hard to watch, but educational, these critters are tough.Really hard to watch, really tough. You should have edited out the sound after the second shot, with a voiceover.Congrats.
Great bull and nice shot, but the last 3 minutes should have never made youtube.
why does it bleed from the mouth?
I disagree what people are saying you can’t help that the bull had a lot of life in him you made 2 great shots I don’t think you did anything wrong. Great bull
Thats as real as it gets and that's a slammer bull. If you wanna go hunt this what you sign up for. It's not glamorous, if more people showed the reality of hunting instead of the glamorized TV version, We'd have more serious hunters out there and less bros trying to be like Cam Haynes.
The first shot was lethal and was a very good shot. Anyone who has been an archery hunter for any length of time has had this
experience.
Just so all you animal lovers out there know , most hunters do not take pleasure in watching their game suffer !! And this bull did not suffer
Ol fella didn't want to give up did he.
Initial response is to say kill it quicker, but the shots were good it looked like. I guess this guy was a fighter to the end.
Buen video
got damn that bull is a fighter he was not going down any soon
Terrible outdoorsman. U r not a true hunter and u are the kind of guy that gives the rest of us bad names.
Hunting the only sport where the other team has no clue it’s playing
When they get a head rush you know it's over.
I like hunting but it is painful to watch such a beatiful animal suffer
I just prefer rifle hunting. Don't like to see them go through this. Beauty of a bull.
That bull was a fighter.
I hunt but this was hard to watch. Great animal and nice shot I just hate it when a good shot like that doesn’t do it’s job quickly. 😔
Não tem nada contra caçar, mais o cara tá as gargalhadas da agonia do animal invés de dar um fim rápido no sofrimento do inocente
Good video. Great kill. Congrats.
Great kill. I'm sure it will be tough to watch for some but this is a reality of bow hunting. You can watch dozens of videos of elk or deer being shot rarely do you get to see all of it like this. My guess is many suffer quite a bit. Reality of bow hunting. They just don't all drop quickly.
I couldn’t finish watching it.
Damn ,for elk I would get something more powerful, maybe ravin crossbow or something
I am a hunter,,myself,,But I use a rifle!,Not a tooth pick coming out of Bow,,,,You see how much that elk suffers,,That's disgusting to even show that,
I’m a big hunter but this was a little hard to watch.
Nice shot
When you hunt any type of animal you must get on one knee and thank God from bringing it to life and may it's soul runs free . future luck and a lifted spirit will guide you and be with you on the next hunt . 🙏🏽❤
Absolutely horrible .
I'm a hunter all my life, and y'all let this majestic animal suffer. Plenty of opportunities to get another arrow in him to take him quickly. Learn some ethics.
Eso tiene el gobierno que prohibirlo por completo 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Awesome job that was a tough bull.
Great shot , great video. Death is part of the hunt, if you cant handle it, you shouldn't be hunting. Congrats
That was to slow fellas. Should have put another one more forward in the vitals.
Good hunt guys.but I would of stopped vedioing when he when down.
Ein langes Leiden -ein langer Todeskampf.
Deswegen bin ich als Jaeger gegen die Jagd mit Pfeil und Bogen.
Nice shot 👌.
Ateşli silah varken ok ile avlanmak acımasızlık bence, birde hayvan can çekişirken sevinç çığlığı atmak hiç insanca bir hareket değil bence
The shot we'll placed but ya I would have cut out the last bit of the old monarch fighting it. As a hunter myself, I know what happens, you know what happens ,but this could have been shortened for the youbtube surfers. Congratulations on the harvest.
Pretty brutal kill.
congrats on a great shot and great video not to many time do we ever get to see the after math of a perfectly placed arrow
This is exactly why i dont like bow hunting. That animal suffered. I am a hunter but using bows and and spears are not a option for me when rifles gives a faster kill and shortens suffering.
