I put a Bug-Buster scope on my Benjamin Marauder .22-Caliber PCP (air pistol). I installed the provided stock. But, the eye relief was NG. The scope had to be installed too far forward (due to the high magazine design).
So, I sawed off the butt-plate, shortened the stock limbs and reinstalled the butt-plate on the short stock!
Works perfectly, but it looks just like a bolt-Action SBR!!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the ATF isn't using spy satellite pictures from the NRO.
I'm sure this PCP SBR will look illegal from orbit!

SEMA for cars and CES for consumer electronics are the same kind of show. B2B sales

@@thatbme35 They just ruled on the EPA last session which was also not a law, and held that these rules that these agencies are making are beyond their scope and therefore, unconstitutional. A blow directly at what the ATF is trying to do here.
An AR pistol with a buffer tube without a brace is still a pistol.

400 for a bipod is not affordable but Im sure it will be high quality considering what Odin puts out normally. Big fan.
In the PRS market with brands like Atlas that is actually a competitive price for the features... Especially with that arca bag, Other companies sell similar bags/qd mounts for hundreds of dollars... In the PRS world $500= $50 average person dollars 😂🤦♂️ I'm surprised they don't have more nighttime PRS competitions, then those guys could extra absurdly turn money into noise 😆👍

All you need is a inverted receiver that you wear on your shoulder to accept the pointed tube
The ATF has that covered too. They are deciding if a pistol can be made with a buffer tube because it can be shouldered too.
@@myfavoritemartian1 Except that already failed. Courts said they can't consider the rubber part of a cane to be a stock when on the end of a buffer tube, so I doubt going after the buffer itself is going to do jack.
The rule kinda reads if it has a buffer tube it was never designed to be a pistol.

@@hiwayhighway9925 the definition of a pistol is a small firearm designed to be fired with one hand, a AR was NEVER designed to be fired with one hand. And a buffer tube will facilitate in shouldering said firearm. Read it like Joe's ATF and DOJ Is going to read it. Only thing I can say is get a bufferless BCG AND PRAY.
Make the AYHN Buffer tube out of pure silver and it will be great backup for hunting Vampires!

I mean the dumb little pillow that clips onto your handguard costs $140 so I think these guys are working off a different definition of the word "affordable" than the rest of us.
@@hornmonk3zit yeah I am confused as to the use of that as a magpul bipod costs $100 and is quite good but for $50 more I can get an attached sandbag that won't even work with a full mag...
I was initially impressed and then yeah the words "affordable quality" with the 400$ pricetag turned me completely off as well.
@@hornmonk3zit During the "Big Guy" era (or Error) things like eggs and 9mm ammo have started to cost 2 to 3 times more than they cost before criminals took over the government.
I told my wife, if you see good beef on sale, get it! Because it's not going to get any cheaper. Not ever!

I've seen bipods that are over 1k it's so stupid.
The new brace rule outlawed ALL imported semi auto rifle caliber pistols, buried deep within it's pages.
I'm fairly certain that would ban every scary rifle import too. You can't import rifles without a "Sporting Purpose" so they all get imported as pistols and converted as far as I know. The other way is to basically be featureless CA compliant on import with thumbhole stocks and bare muzzles and they put pistol grips and stuff on when they get here, but pistols are easier because they can just come in without stocks and pop them on at the distributor.
They have to have had a brace installed. The burden of proof must be on the ATF, not the assumption that you must have installed a brace.

Well, they may be AFT "Compliant" today and may even come with an AFT Letter....BUT just give the AFT a couple of weeks/months/years and they will do a Complete 180 (just like with the Bump Stock/FRT/Forearm Brace/etc) and suddenly Declare them to be ILLEGAL.
The AFT buffer was kinda funny ..... I'm sure he had a different name for it ..... But opted for a more algorithm friendly one.
If I were there ..... I'd be that guy to take it to the AFT booth for you.

I have the Odin O2 Lite fore end on my PSA PA10 and are by far my favorite handguard that I own. Extremely light very solid.

I look forward to the Spicy Mc Stabb'in that comes out later as a Limited Time Only meal.

Make a bipod that has its own shoulder stock. Bipod would attach to a pic rail or mlok slot of any pistol with or without a buffer tube could be pulled securely against your shoulder for stability.
Or just legalize all short barrel firearms.

A buffer tube is required in the operation of the pistol. The ATF ruling only applies to stabilizer braces.
Exactly, I don't know where people got this idea that a buffer tube has been banned. All the language talks about >accessories< that extend or increase rearward surface area beyond what's mechanically necessary for the gun to function. If you grind the adjustment points on a carbine tube or run a bare pistol tube, no argument could be made that you intend to install a stock or brace

Lets do some creative thinking.... That buffer makes the AR pistol compliant in the eyes of the FAT. Soooo.... Sell separately a shooting vest that would receive that spike for either left or right hand shooters. The spike would insert into a cup that is sewn into the vest. Can they outlaw clothing? Nothing has been said about shouldering a slick buffer tube. Shooting vests with pads have been around for decades if not centuries.
We literally came up with this idea on the forum. A pointed buffer tube.. obviously it’s a coincidence but I know for a fact we developed this before Odin.

Nope, I think a lot of us got the same idea, at the same time we read about the "Surface area" re: Buffer tubes.
In my feeble old mind, I pictured the device being used in close combat with a Butt stroke, ripping the sharp point across the enemy's face, stunning him. At the end of the stroke with muzzle over left shoulder, follow up with a hard down stroke, to administer the coup de grâce with a spear-stab into the throat.

The pointed buffer tube may be funny, but it's a real fight that we have to take seriously. We can't allow a law enforcement agency to make their own laws and say a buffer tube provides enough surface area to constitute a felony.
ATF needs to comply with the Constitution. Until then . . .. ignore.
I already have a "short stroke" buffer. It was designed in the 1970s by the CIA for special operations. A good reference would be Mr. Clark in "Clear and Present Danger". Hard to find, but available, and shoves the new "brace" rule right up the ATFs ass!
Strike Industries is selling a short stroke buffer. It's not expensive and it works fine for me.
Law Tactical ARIC BCG is available today and requires no tube.

The buffer tube would work with a plate carrier that has a pad the point rest on.
The pad would not be a part of the firearm and unregulated

The ATF has vastly overestimates how many people actually give a s*** about their opinion at this point regarding braces. Imagine if every week Highway Patrol change the speed limit and occasionally put up signs with algebraic equations where you had to figure it out yourself. No one would care anymore.

I hate companies like this that will try to one take an opportunity to make money . Go along with what the ATF says. I will never buy anything from Oden gun works and I hope that they go out of business. This is the problem. If nobody went along with this then they wouldn't be able to enforce it

I usually like companies, making innovative and cool stuff. In this case, if you want a buffer tube that can also be a stabbing device then by all means, but the fact we’re still having SBR discussions today blows my mind, and the only reason the government still has those rules is so they could make money on it because there’s more SBR‘s that they could never confiscate in this country. But in this case, it’s companies like you that are trying to Make Light of the dumbest rules. Now that you have introduced a product like this it will give them something else to look at and agree with you on. Now they can say oh yeah you’re right maybe we should make buffer tubes like that for an A.R. pistol to be legal. Why are you trying to fix a problem that does not exist?
