As a Mormon, I am 100% certain that Archuleta touches and even wears 'normal' underwear. If he did freak out from girls panties being thrown at him it would probably because most 17 year old boys would react a bit weird to that. In fact, I think I would too. Anyway, I assume it was just a funny joke said by Cook.
