Plastics are petroleum. Complete incineration reduces the material to their own original elements. ( oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon; plus gobs of energy!). The carbon goes back into the ground as new building blocks for plants. It’s self sustaining plus produces energy by the process which can power steam turbines for energy production!
Y’know, we don’t make the elements; they’re already here. Carbon does a lot more good producing food for us than clogging up our air and water; -right?

Plastic isn’t recyclable. At best, it can be reused a few times before it ends up in the environment for between 20 and 500 years. The best recycling facilities in the world doesn’t change those basic facts. In fact, the energy used to ‘recycle’ the plastic is another source of pollution. It doesn’t matter how many robes some monks are making…

You know how the uk suffers from the worst roads in the world potholes like sinkholes. I have worked on loads of major roadworks projects all over the uk. The reason we have potholes is because of the, in my opinion absolute crap build spec to which our roads are built. First wee strip the soil and roll it out then we roll out a membrane called terram then a plastic mesh called geogrid then stone sand and rolled whacked and then the tar. Now that would be suitable in a warm climate with little to no annual rain. But we live in blighty and whats happening is the amount of water under soil is washing/eroding the layers used in roads away creating cavities which under weight buckle inwards creating potholes that and the winter frost freezing and melting worsens it more. So the plastic problem can solve the road problems. Melt it down into huge thick slabs and lay them on the ground and tar straight onto them no worry of weeds growing through less materials used no erosion no potholes/sinkholes could lay these slabs for miles upon miles would be faster aswell.

I'm at the 4:32 mark on pause. Unfortunately, the damage is done. You will never get all the plastic out of the sea. Go to places like India, Bali (I have seen it, ugly polluted plastic beaches) they will never care for the environment and enforce it. Many poor countries will just not do it.

If I were Prime Minister of England, I would order the British Armed Forces, to invade Myanmar, even if France and Germany and America don't want to, I would tell Macron of France to take a hike if he didn't want to, free from prison, political prisoner, and Human Rights activist Aung San Suu Kyi. She is currently imprisoned on false charges of corruption and embezzlement, by a military junta that seized power in 2021. I think its outrageous that the West has stood by, and done nothing to try and release her from prison, or my name isn't Queen Victoria! Shame on us.

Plastic cannot be recycled indefinitely: it does break down over time. The premise of this video is naive, misleading, poorly researched and ultimately fallacious. Magical thinking cannot break the laws of physics!

Meanwhile iam watching this video through plastic molded phone 💀💀
There is no alternative to plastics for example pvc used in coating aluminium and copper wires which is shock proof
ABS grade of plastic used in automotive like car and bike and pp grade used in molding items HD grade for blue crates and drums ; ldpe grade for packaging films
Iam not in support of plastic here the reason iam stating this is because the development rely on it
