Take a flathead screwdriver and grind half to a "L". It makes it so much more easy to catch the hook, especially when you have to aply the force to relase it
Thanks for the vid, replaced a knackered rubber coated one with a leather one from a Clio sport for my son.
Could believe the force needed to budge that spring so it would clear to release.
thank you for this helpfull video i took about 1 hour to get the airbag out. for changing the cruise control buttons. It's also not easy to fit the wires into the gap in the steering wheel.But patients is the key to succes.
I’m breaking my Clio DCI Mk 3 this week and shall be using this video to remove my airbag / wheel to sell!

It took me 5 minutes to take airbag out with a large flat head screwdriver.

Thanks for the vid. A word of advice though, always place the airbag face up. If you place it face down and it should deploy then the whole back housing becomes a missile. Face up at least you only get a facefull of airbag. Very unlikely I know but always a chance.

The airbag can be played with like a football and will not go off without a 12v going through it

Them air bags are a right pain! A quarter drive works better than a screw driver

Ima Ok why do you need to know that? If google doesn’t have an exact result it will take key words
Good tutorial but over 20% was incessant and unnecessary chat. But then I suppose you wouldn’t have got a 5 minute job over the magic monetisation 10 minute mark🙄
