I would love to see how your doing your drop stitch look. I've just been doing mine using chain stitches but, it doesn't look as much like the real deal as yours does.
i think she’s just extending the loop on her hook after her last stitch. i don’t really know how to explain it :/

I do have a question, how do you stop the dropped stitch technique in the next row? Do you just chain or do some sort of foundation stitch? Or just add stitches to one of the loose strings? Thanks!

Super cool crochet project and that yarn is so soft!!! I had $5 too at Michaels, but I couldn’t decide on a yarn so I decided to buy charms to do my own stitch markers!!!

It’s been on sale at my Michael’s. I’m not super into my crocheting atm but I’ve been knitting with this yarn to make a baby blanket- so worth it, very soft. Can’t wait for baby to have it!!!!

I love it! I think if you intentionally place those ripped areas on sides and etc could be really cool. I don’t wear a bra due to having abnormally sensitive nerve endings around my rib cage, so I have some ideas in my head already. Also a skirt would look bomb too in this style😍
Yes I’m definitely going to make more of these and place the dropped stitches in areas that don’t show everything 😂

When crocheting I do a few stiches then I make like a chain of 5 and 6 and then go into the next stich and I keep going and it makes like a look where it a whole bunch of wholes in my peice
