Hi! Thank you so much for the tips. So, I’m preparing for the August SAT, and I’m almost finished with all of the topics Khan Academy offers for the DSAT. However, even though I feel like I have a pretty good understanding, I still continue to not significantly increase my score on practice tests. Do you have any advice? Should I go over the topics on Khan academy all over again??
Hmm... 1) I would go over everything you got wrong in Khan Academy and really make sure you understand the ones you got wrong completely 2) Are you doing badly because you're not good at concentrating for long periods of time? If so, work on training yourself to concentrate better 3) If you have exhausted all the free resources then maybe look into buying more books/other resources and doing them instead.

I got a 1340 on my diagnostic test (670 for both EBRW and Math). Do you think I could achieve a 1550+ with 1-2 hours of daily practice by August 24th (Around 49 days away), or should I allocate more time? I have a really busy schedule but I can sacrifice some free time. Thank you so much for your advice! It feels great to actually have some sort of blueprint I can adopt instead of going blind.
A 1340 is actually a phenomenal starting score in my opinion. I find it hard to conceptualize time because it's different for everybody, but I think that should be enough? (take this with a grain of salt I have no idea). Rather than time, I would rather you be efficient (i.e. review everything you suck at until you don't anymore) and then your score should improve significantly. Good luck!!
Hey i am currently scoring around 750-800 on math and consistently getting 500 on English do you think I can get to a 650 or above in English by October 5?
I am very late, sorry. But in theory, you should be able to. It's not a time thing more as a how much you practice and if you're practicing efficiently.
What are all the topics? I always run into hard problems. I have a 1220 right now (600 math, 620 reading) and want a 1500 by March. Is it possible? Im taking tutoring but I dont know how or what to study

On that note, I have a question, would you in theory spend 7 bucks on a "SAT Math guide" or "SAT english guide" written by me, do you think it would be helpful for people like you? I was thinking of doing something like that when/if I have the time
For step 1 how can you access the Diagnostic Test on Khan Academy? I only see articles, videos, and practice question but no diagnostic test. I believe they may have removed it from the old SAT course and that they changed it to reflect the Digital SAT.

Oh man, I'm not gonna lie. That's a huge jump and I don't think that's possible. Even without tutoring, that's a huge jump and you'd need to work everyday all day to even begin dreaming about it. BUT I do not want to be the one to crush your dreams. Work your hardest, scour the internet for videos and resources, get a tutor if you want, and then you'll definitely improve though.
I think so! August, probably not, but October for sure. You will have to do a lot of practice though. I suggest you watch some videos online on how to do a reading/writing passage to first understand how it works. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes much easier. Your math score is great!
Hey , i got 1210 on my first attempt and i want to increase the score above 1400 and I’m confused if i should give my retake in aug or oct cause I haven’t started any practice tests. Can u please advice me what time is better and if any book that u could recommend me for prep.. btw i’m a rising senior. Please reply
You probably need more than august to score 200+ points. You're welcome to buy books from third party companies like Princeton Review or Kaplan if you want, but I would first finish using all the resources I recommended before doing that if I were you

how do I take it untimed? whenever I pause it on the CB test, the screen doesn't let me continue testing, it just goes into break mode.
