I’ve got this test yesterday in the uk, I was overthinking and in my imagination was more terrifying than it was in reality. I had sedation and endoscopy team was great, talking to me about different things during the procedure. When I felt uncomfortable doctor moved a endoscope differently and change my position on bed so I felt better. Hope that helps.

What about the huge bruising in that area like 3 inch around the bottom anas .
What are the chances of perforation with this procedure?
They say its low but I am terrified of it. Did you get one?

I had flexible sigmoidoscopy which took place in endoscopy unit
