- Im hooked on film. After shooting this pot I've had a hard time putting down the film camera. I love the aesthetic and feel of putting the film in the camera and taking my time with each shot. Plus getting the film back after being developed is like Christmas you don't know what you're going to get. Also everyone from the car crash in the video is okay I should've mentioned that in the video. Hope you ladies and gentleman enjoyed the content please like and subscribe.... Peace Out

Ayy thank you
nice vid
Enjoyed the China Town vibes! Sweet pics
killer photos
Thanks man
Nice tour of China town. I like a pov with digital. I believe digital gives a different vibe. But film is good for a artisy pic. But, once again always enjoy seeing NYC from your view.
I’d you look in my pov playlist I have a Chinatown video at night. It’s not as long but I’m using the a7iii
Shot film between 2001 and 2011 and I don't miss it AT ALL! Someone walking in your shot big deal with film, NO big deal with digital! But it's nice that you tried it out.
Yeah it’s just nice to have a change of pace. But I love digital. If you like the Chinatown scene u should see my rainy Chinatown pov I did a month ago with my Sony a7III.
Love the Film POV! There's a spot I went to yesterday to drop off my roll, Bleeker Digital Solutions straight up Delancey St.... I paid 18.99 + tax to develop, receiving them @ my email tomorrow at 6pm....their color film is the same price too, not sure about others.
That’s not to bad do you know what size the scans are ?
@@PhotoTripps23 I’m not sure, this is my first time scanning pics but my friend has gone there a couple times including today, I don’t think they come out too big, though.
I’ll take a online maybe I can find some info
what did you use to film the pov footage? love the shots!!!
a gopro hero 10
I've been shooting digital for 13 years and I just got reintroduced to film photography in January (had a cheap point & shoot film camera in the 90s as a kid). Bought a fully manual Nikon FM2N, love the feeling of loading the film and winding it. Also bought a Nikon F80 in Feb just to get that "DSLR" automatic feel. But shooting film is a different beast. You really gotta get that exposure down. Unlike shooting .RAW, you can easily make your exposure adjustments in post. Also as you said in this vid, you just can't spray & pray your frames ESPECIALLY with these film roll prices. Lol But I've been enjoying the experience.
Hey man thank you for sharing your story. These were the first rolls of film I shot. Im so hooked now I love everything about it from putting the film in to seeing how different film stocks turn out. I shot like 6 rolls in Philly last weekend ( porta 400, cine still 400, and cine still 800t) I’m excited to see how everything develops. Im 25 so my first camera was a point and shoot Nikon cool pixel. In college I had a Nikon d7100 which was perfect for that time. I do enjoy the mirrorless cameras but like you so something about film just feels good
Tutorial for that paracord bracelet please? It is awesome!
I don’t know if a whole video on the Strap would make senses. I got the strap on Etsy
@@PhotoTripps23 oh I thought it was handmade by you, but that works too. Thanks!
I wish hahah that would be cool
