I'm Indonesian who has Indonesian ex-girlfriends from different cultures like Sundanese, Javanese, Indo-Chinese, and foreigner before I got married with a Batak woman. Basically women/girls in Indonesia are the same as in other countries, they need extra attention. But yes, Indonesian women are very conservative and prefer to have a boyfriend or be married to a man who has the same religion. However, even each Indonesian woman has their relatively different characters, attitudes, and habits built from where they came, what tribe, and what kind of parents or family they have. E.g: If you date a Batak woman, they will question your education and job first. Because education and job are one of Batak cultures, including for women. Because traditionally, Batak women also work along with men since hundreds of years ago. If you have good income, it's good for them. But if your income is still average, they don't mind going through the hard work with you to reach the top income. Most of them are Christians, so yeah they are more open to foreigners. But don't forget, they are really respect their parents. And when their parents became "so old", their parents will become children's responsibility to take care. If you disrespect their parents, and messed up with the rule, they will not hesitate to leave you and taking care her parents by herself. If you date with Sundanese or Javanese, they will question your religion first. They don't really care about the level of your education as long as you can earn enough money. They don't mind if they don't work and just stay at home, as long as your job can cover the bills. Most of them are Muslims, so they are most likely willing to marry you if you have converted to Muslim. For Indo-Chinese, pretty much like with Batak woman about job and education. But make sure you have a really good job that can provide her or your future children, because their lifestyle is quite different. Most of them are Confucians and Christians, they'd prefer men with the same religion, but they may be open to other religions as long as you have good income. Etc.
@@DiniKusuma I don't know if I'm stereotyping, I'm just telling my real experiences. Hehe During my single status, I met hundreds of girls/women from different backgrounds. Maybe more than 20 of them had relationships with me, I couldn't even remember the exact number. Sometimes I changed 3 girlfriends in one year, because I'd rather break the relationship than waste her time on something that wouldn't go anywhere. Sometimes I had a relationship with a girl for more than 2 years. Sometimes with tears when we break because we know we love each other, but it won't go anywhere. But most of the time we laugh at each other when we break. Everything ended with a cool attitude and calm manner, and we are still friends. So it doesn't mean what I said in the previous comment is a negative and positive comparison, or something that stereotyping. I made a couple of dating profiles, but it's still a bit early to start paying and sending out likes. The downside so far is getting so many messages from women older than me (clearly too old to have kids while I state that I want to start a family). Also, I've heard good and bad things about setting something up ahead of time (ie. the woman waiting at the airport), but nothing is going to beat being there in person. Seeing is believing. Had I judged Thailand purely on youtube, I never would have gone. A friend in Thailand recommended Kuala Lumpur to me because it's an international hub with women from all over. At the very least, I look forward to that. 2 passersby will be mutually eager to connect for a short time.
Yes, set up your dating profile a week before your arrival. That's enough. The dating sites should be only used to set up physical appointments!! Hello again! Off topic, but I have a question about working in Indonesia. How is English teaching there? I'm a native born American with second ASEAN citizenship. Can I get the White man's pay but will visa be more easy as an ASEAN member?
Good point! You probably should try English teaching. I think it is needed, especially by native speakers! Not sure about the visa though. You would be considered a Westerner so that would help with the pay - your ASEAN citizenship would perhaps help with a visa.
Thanks Marcel. Enjoyed your company today. Interesting and informative chat. Tschuss 😉
Immer wieder gerne.😉👍
maybe Indonesian women more interesting being wife and Mother rather than working to another people's/companies,,,!!but there's Indonesian women's working for support the family needs(specially for the kid's),,,,yeah...because Indonesian women instinct its Mother instinct the dominant,,,so whatever we(women's)do...all for our kid's !!Indonesian women even would leave the job...nice job with high salary for the kids,, stay and take care our kid's ! it's Natural Mother instinct 😊😊
Swami SAYS, good analysis. Swami SAYS, the general vibe in Indonesia is MUCH more "free spirited" - especiallly in the Medan area. Swami SAYS, that tuak helps the volks there to chill out a bit, and them Batak gals are refreshingly down to earth, and seemingly EAGER to get "down and dirty" (read that as you may). Swami SAYS, just can't do mainland Malaysia anymore, and skipped the recent choice to return there, for the opportunty to go to Nepal. Swami SAYS, the people in Malaysia tend to be a bit "stuffed up" in every way, and to be completely honest, the country is both a bit boring (with some exceptions - like the nice parks), and the people are a bit miserable (just in general). Swami SAYS, Malaysia is now a 1-3 month "transit" destination at this point - IF there are no other options, although have been think about simply flying from Bangkok straight to Indonesia, and bypassing Malaysia completely. Swami SAYS, the racial issues on mainland Malaysia (especially the Ch$n$se-heavy areas (like Penang, and Malacca - two parts of the former "Straits Settlement" - along with $ingapore) are just a bit much, and ONE may find ONESSELF feeling a bit depressed - perhaos even CLINICALLY depressed - if ONE spends too much time there. Swami SAYS, the topic of Malaysian Bornea, and a comparison with Indonseia, would be an interesting topic for a future video. Swami SAYS, may be interested in giving Malaysian Borneo a "last chance for Malaysia" - especially since ONE can cross the land border between the Malsysian territory (in the north of the island), and the Indonesian territory in the south - instead of having to deal with the expense, and aggravation, of needing to fly in and out of Indonesia every two months (in terms of logistics and $$$)... Swami SAYS, enjoying your insights in these videos, and if you are anti-woke then you are an ALLY of "The Swami". Swami SAYS, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find allies in this current "prison planet".... #SwamiSays
I want to thank Swami for his/her? comments, views and suggestions on this topic. Much appreciated🙏

@@MinimalistNomad Swami SAYS, nuthin' makes this "armchair anthropologist" Swami's non-binary NIPPPLES harder than lying down, contemplating the gender-neutral navel, and the interpersonal dynamics of Man and #womenz, , and the various existential conundrums which those "homos" they call" Homo Sapiens" routinely find them-SELVES "enmeshed" ... #SwamiSays
Can you make a video on living on Indonesia vs Germany and/or why you decided to leave Germany to live in Indonesia (or other Asian countries)?
Ok, I put it on my list.👍
Well ... speaking of Indonesian ppl in general, compared to Malaysian (for example) ... as Indonesian, I find that our founding fathers - who built the foundation of this nation - pretty much forms the character of Indonesian people themself
I mean ... bc of many diversities in Indonesia - different ethnics, religions, and races - keeping the country "Unity in Diversity" has been taught by the goverment over and over as one most important aspect to live in Indonesia.
Thus, making Indonesian ppl a bit more open minded and less conservatives - especially in urban area
Indonesian ppl tend to not see people based on differences of ethnic, religion, or race (again, mostly in urban area)
Thanks for your explanation!👍 Interesting facts!
@@MinimalistNomad it's interesting, indeed ... how 'political' views can actually shape/form people's character ...
btw enjoy ure videos, I don't see them as a "selling product" video 👍

Looks like i ll stick to heavily tattooed Thai women lol Also the Pinays. Joking aside i am visiting Malaysia and Indonesia this year and next year, not expecting any dates in short trips but i will try night outs and Chinese girls might be an option to meet.
Go for it man. You are doing the right thing: boots on the ground, make your own experience and shop around. That's the way to move forward and find out.
11:24 I think so too. My general observation: the less economically developed the country is, the more money oriented its women are, therefore they have less qualms to date westerners who they perceive to have money.
I pick Indonesia 🇮🇩
In this world god create many choices, so just embress the differences and similarity
I was watching about Korean sarang talk about Indonesian, make me miss read the title Korean women vs Indonesian women 😅😅😅
As an Indonesian these arr my takeaways:
Soft spoken, full service, well groomed, good looking, feminime, dependant, submissive, JAV-like :
SUNDANESE
Independent, hardworking, educated, straight to the point, a bit rude/loud, direct communication:
BATAKNESE
PADANGNESE (bonus fanatic)
Thanks👍
what is full service ?
@@viviev5044 what sort of services these women render

Malaysian women is basically like a western woman. Western women also do not really date foreigners from Asia who come to their country.
How about look for woman in Borneo part of Malaysia (more traditional like Indonesia) and bring her to other part of Malaysia? Why? Malaysian passport more like US in terms of where can travel. Best of both worlds?
Yes, the Malaysian passport is quite strong.
@@MinimalistNomad yes, highly rank in passport index, frm this u can know why msian women are highly sought after😊
Stop apologizing.
Its a joke to compare Msian women to Indonesia women.Culture n education wise are too distance😊
It means you have been mainly exposed only to Indonesia’s lowest class, maybe mainly maids and factory workers? Your network exactly tells who you are. Katak di bawah tempurung.
What do you mean? Can you elaborate?
@@ArcticSeraph maybe his small brain thinks all Indonesian women are uneducated and all maids. And actually this reflects his own small world (that he is at such a level, confined to maids world). Poor him, unable to connect with larger portion of Indonesian population.
