Showed the guys at my pick up this video. We are down 71 teeth total. All from the follow through. But man does everyone have absolute rocket backhands.
I've been playing for 4 years i have a really good snap shoot forehand. But I couldn't do a backhead this made it alot ez thanks alot I would recommend this to any of my friends
I am such a terrible shooter, but that snap backhand shot is the only thing I feel like comes naturally to me. I love it! But I'm learning a lot here I didn't focus so much on as a kid, I much preferred to use my legs and get others the puck
Leon Shraibman hey Leon! Yeah, we offer training lessons weekly in the Toronto area. We have a Winter Camp in Mississauga. Please see the details at iTrainHockey.com
@@itrainhockey Apologies,I should have been more clear. We are in Maryland, so I was wondering about summer week-long camps: Either sleep over , or day time only
Maryland is definitely one of the locations I want to bring iTrain Hockey hockey camps to. Check out my website to see a confirmed list of dates and locations of where I'll be next on the Store page! See you on the ice!
The reason I want to develop a backhand in stride is I play the off wing, so there is usually a defender in the way of the forehand. But this also means I can't do the turn toward the goal he is showing here. I want to get off a quick backhand without having to turn my whole body into the defender (or spear him as I shoot as I'm not looking to get tossed). Not sure this is possible.
Michael Shaw you can do this by rotating your upper body and keeping your feet going forward. Use your core to load by twisting at the waist, as you release this twist will create power.
This guy looks so good at hockey

Man this guy is legit. Just stumbled across his channel. Sadly it looks like he is no longer making new videos.
Jay Dee, I know, this is some quality content, right? He breaks things down quite well and makes good quality video with good clear audio.
Jay Dee yeah he is. You just gotta pay for it now lol

where is rink located
Right now, I am learning to backhand a soft hockey puck. If you ask me, I would say it's pretty challenging to backhand a soft hockey puck.
Where is that outdoor rink located
riverdale park east TO (guessing)

If you get your front foot facing the goalie on the backhand you get more lift and power on your shot.
What curve are you using brah?
Looks like a p92 to me
Savage.
Russel mussle shut up
Thats a new one.
shouldn't you always follow your shot? Great lesson but I'd suggest looking for the rebound!
