Oh ist das schöööön, so, so wonderful and fantastic. My heartfelt thanks my dear friend Elena. I wish you a wonderful and fulfilling new weekend... Hug and dear morning greetings from Switzerland, your friend Hans-Peter
Hallo mein Freund Hans-Peter! Vielen Dank für Ihren Kommentar!! I hope you have a wonderful week and that you are getting ready for holidays. The beautiful Christmas music puts me in the right frame of mind. Good night from Canada!
Craig is growing on me, and with you at the demo board, to present his work so true to his intent. Lots of really cool articulations on the off beat, all against that wildly walking bass. I have played several version of this, this one takes the cake for creative entertainment. Doesn't take much to acquire this taste. Thanks again.
I think this one is my favourite arrangement ever! I am sadly coming to the end of the collection of pieces. It seems that the stuff he is concentrating on now is hymn based. I would have been very interested in more jazz standards!
@@elenafortinmusic Steve Calderone, Lee Evans, Brent, of course, this same kind of really cool stuff. M Yamamoto has some nice ones, "advanced." I have a like 5 others but haven't worked them much. I can give you the names if you want. I do have one Dave Brubeck Christmas arrangements. Worked "What Child is This" last year, probably not get to it again this season. He had some big hands, I have to roll sometimes. The arrangements are pretty advanced, he takes no prisoners. Stone jazz style.
@@DavidMiller-bp7et Love finding out about all these jazz musicians. I watched some TH-cam stuff of Jon Batiste--he is very fun! And I love Harry Connick, Jr. too. I did look at Vince Guaraldi's version of What Child Is This--I like his version. I can't do the big hand stuff--Oscar Peterson is a huge challenge for me. I end up having to roll almost ALL the time!! lol. Small hands...
@@elenafortinmusic Yeah, everyone is different; even Rach, despite what people think generally, did not write for big hand reaches; he knew people couldn't do it. Very individual thing; mine are very slightly + average for a man. I can hit slightly more than 1/2 of the 5-2-1 LH chords without rolling. Sometimes, I have no choice.
