Love this kind of stuff. My mom made all kinds of stuff like that. Especially at Christmas. A great home cooker in her time. It's not too much to do. You just have to love making food, especially desserts.

Funny but I just attempted to make kettle corn recently and it wasn't the best. This looks quick and easy. Thanks! I never thought of Oreos in it. I'm thinking maybe reeses pieces or crushed butterfingers🤗🍄🍁🎃👻🤡 Update: I just made my popcorn balls with microwave kettle corn and honey roasted peanuts. Yummy!❤❤❤ Thanks again for sharing this quick and easy treat😊
I wasn't a fan of popcorn balls even as a kid so that's not something I'll be making. I'm still going to try the caramel apple dessert you made a couple weeks ago, though.

Ashame that no one can be trusted these days. My Mama always made so many treats for us, family, friends and neighbors! Miss that so much, she passed away last year💔 She made popcorn balls, candied apples, cupcakes (inside ice-cream cones) and many other goodies😊
@@sandyr4656 I remember back in the day people would give out cookies, taffy apples, and other fruits and now some towns won't allow certain things to be given out during trick-or-treat they put like a guideline in the local paper of what to and what not to give out
In the good old days, it was safe everyone just about knew each other lots of relatives in our area. Lots of Italian and other nationality’s we knew. Got money and good candies! I miss those days. And when my son was little we only went to who we know. And that’s the way we like it!! 🎃🍁🌻🤎🧡
Justine, those aren't Popcorn balls! Balls are round 😂 Whatever you made is a blob. Popcorn balls are made with Karo Syrup and non buttered Popcorn. And, lastly...when taking a bite of a Popcorn ball, it should be crisp. Not chewy like yours. Please Google "Old fashioned Popcorn Balls" and perhaps you could start a trend? Saw you sister do this in a Bundt Pan! What the heck are you two doing???
Yes it is. Definition of a treat food is that it contains little or no nutritional value, but harmful amounts of salt, fat and sugar. Funny because eating treats leads to a need for medical "treat"ment. It's just the amount of junk associated with Halloween. Is there any healthy Halloween food?@@maggieallen3331
