To use the same method, and get the stone to a height to leave the quarry, he would have had to put 22,222 lbs on the working end of a fulcrum 148 ft long, with 40 ft. under the stone, and would have had to stack the weight on the angled fulcrum 34 ft. in the air. And, the fulcrum would have to be able to take the combined weight of 82,000 lbs, and also take that amount of pressure on a single point. Running my numbers through an engineering calculator will demonstrate this, clearly and with no ambiguity. With that being said, isn't it time to give up on this, and concede that Ed did NOT build the Coral Castle using prosaic means? He is clearly bending, or breaking the laws of physics, and is doing it to teach us. Anyway, this isnt clever, and it doesn't explain anything about how Ed built the Coral Castle. I thought that was your goal: To show how Ed did it, not show how you think it might be done. Also, it's been years. You have the equipment he did, but you have yet to hand quarry, lift, and set into place a single stone in the fashion that Ed clearly did. Does this also not make you wonder at your own theory after a while? Anyway, food for thought.
