Depends if you liked the first. Ignore the mtx/dlc. All of it is easily available in game for free, doesn't even require grinding. Lots of rumors about dragonsplague ruining your save by offing entire towns. 7 days. All important npcs auto-rez. The combat is twice as fun as DD1, but the menus are 33% worse. You'll need to look up guides a lot, because quests are hard to find and complete without them. There isn't a lot of guidance, even if you have guide mode enabled. Theres no real ng+ yet. There _is,_ its just restarting the game, but nothing changes. No stronger enemies, etc. They're working on a hardmode, but thats gonna be near end of year, or early next. Right now, theres no real reason to replay. But if you explore the map and do 70% of stuff, you'll get 200 hours out of the game pretty easily.

@@orforix3147 the biggest mtx 'wants' is the portcrystal, the camping set, and the metamorphosis (modify your char creation). But the camping set is a quest reward, there's already 11 portcrystals in game, and only 10 can be placed, and the char edit item is bought from the first town's rift store for about 2 pawn-hires worth of RC. The game is balanced, like it should be. Crapcom just hoped you'd buy stuff you didn't understand. They split all the classes. No more bow/dagger combos. But by lvl 5, you won't mind. Thief is like jack the ripper on that walter white. And unlocking the warfarer class is awesome. Forget bow and dagger. Now, you're *all* the classes. Zero restriction on armor and weapons. Bonus, that job gives every other job 20% of its vocation points. You can level everything at once, while being everything. The only downside is you can't use the ultimate class skills, but... you don't need them. I cast 1 spell, then dagger spin, and bosses melt. And you can unlock it near the start of the game, if you're willing to run through a gauntlet of over-leveled enemies that can one-shot you, across the _entire_ map. I can't speak on performance. I'm on xbox, and it runs just fine. But PC has had a lot of problems, and I'm not sure how fixed they are yet, so keep that in mind.
Shooting a Minotaur with a heavenly arrow in to the face and launch his entire body straight in to the heavens is worth every single dollar. If you like exploring a big ass map and finding things on your own that other people have not and the game dosnt send you to them for a mission,or end up with different outcomes on quests,or like to do side quests that others havent,or max all 9 vocations and try different skill sets or just want to go out on a hike and kill a bunch of enemies for the sake of it,then yes it is worth it,it all depends on what kind of things you like in a game,its a big improvement compared to the first game,but as some one stated above the menus are a downgrade,which is kinda weird and the entire sfx of the magick archer skill set is inferior to the first game but thats a personal nitpick. Ignore the dlc and mtx that capcom executives put in there too,haters getting salty over them and they didnt even played the game,those were put to help the zoomers and playerz with skill issuez like the first game and the preorder weapons become obsolete as soon as you buy new equipment,despite the "p2w" nonesense the haters are yaping about,they dont help you win anything at all,in any case,noone with a grain of decency uses/buys them for real money since you obtain everything just playing the game.
