Leatherman Surge - 5 Year Review

This is my first of several Leatherman Multitools.
In this video, I use several of the features/tools on the Surge and discuss what I feel are the pros and cons.
I also explain why I bought this tool.
At my local stores and online, I am seeing this tool sell for $140.
I am hoping that this video helps the viewers determine whether this tool is right for them and at a price they find agreeable.

I enjoyed your review very much. Got my surge as a replacement for the ol’ supertool that I bought in Bosnia, Tuzla air base, back in ‘98. Second hand price here in Denmark: 98 dollars. But it is good as new. It’s hard to make a scratch on the surge :-)
I use a seperate handle for hex bits/socket wrench so I can counter turn from the other side when needed. It fits in the leather pouch that came with the surge, so no problem. I keep the 5 most used hex bits in an empty permanent marker and wrench bits on a steel wire on the opposite side pouch. I also crammed some metal- and wood saw blades and some Allen keys in there to have a handy go-to kit. I love my surge and think it’s the best heavy duty multitool on the market. Glad to see that your hand healed up so nicely. Stay safe :-)
