I heard a lot of comments about the engine going out but mine is still original one, 185,000 km on the clock. what can I say, is not the brightest diamond but with proper care it can last enough. Now my biggest complain since forever is the small room in the rear seats (mine is a double cab), why nobody complains about this? I feel like I am the only one bothered by that, the leg room is just...useless in the rear seats.
🤣🤣🤣 so true it hurts. I had a 2002 shogun sport from new (same motor but not a pick up), 114bhp rusted beyond repair by 14 years old, head gasket blown at 100,000 and written off like very other one ever made. Terrible motor
Super old comment but to give you a rough idea, if we have something hanging from the rear view mirror, like an air freshener, it's a fail on the test - If a wheel arch is rusty it could fail the test if the tester deems it a potential hazard to pedestrians walking by when parked (Sharp edge or w/e) but duct taping over it is a pass - It's strict but also absolutely ridiculous - Rust within 30cm of a seatbelt anchor point is a failure among many other chassis/frame locations, generally when a car in the UK fails for chassis/frame rust it goes for scrap unless the owner is friendly with a welder lol
