    BillKing CACO Tip Tool: www.ebay.com/itm/124591488476
    ------
    Introducing this Korean-made tip tool "BillKing CACO". This is imo the most user-friendly tip tool ever! I'd still recommend the traditional blade/sandpaper technique as this one is slightly bulkier but those takes practice.
    This tool flattens your ferrule, trim the sides and shapes the tip. Does the whole re-tipping job in one tool, but I'd still recommend using the "Last4Ever Tip Tool" which I will introduce or put up for sale soon.
    For those looking to purchase one, please click on the eBAY link on the above.
    The following tools are used in this tip-installation video:
    - BillKing CACO Tip Tool
    - Last4Ever Tip Tool (Dime Radius)
    - Masking Tape
    - Super Glue (401 recommended)
    - Cue Tip
    - Cue Shaft
    - Sandpaper (80-100 Grit)
    - Tiger Liquid Burnisher
    - Q-Tips (x2)
    - A piece of leather

    Mine works perfectly! I've done 3 tips so far n the biggest thing is to trim the excess material off the tip after gluing it on...I like using a dremel tool. keep a double wrap of painter's tape on the ferrule n you're good to go!

    Break off tip. level surface. try not to remove much ferrule. wrap painters tape. 3 wraps for me. glue tip. turn and use edge of a grinder lightly until a layer of tape or 2 is coming off equal. I finish with a drill laid on its side chucked up with a rubber cup or a chair leg and bolt threaded though it. holds shaft perfectly. can add painter tape to this area to get more grip also. I use a variable speed control on the drill and just hold the shaft as i use 500grit all the way to 2000 then finish with leather. Perfect every time been doing it for 15 years. I do have a tweedens tip tool which a use after the grinding but is not necessary. the drill is great for shaping the tip with one of those long U type sandpaper holders. Now I have a revo gotta be real careful as you cant me sanding that thing.

    How does this tool adjust to cut evenly with the ferrule width without cutting the ferrule?

    • @TSBilliards
      @TSBilliards  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Once you pushed the shaft into the tool and get it locked it, it will only cut leather by the size of the ferrule, anything smaller will not be cut, unless you have a tapered ferrule.

      Eugene : Try using a small cutter razor to cut off the rounded edges all around before you fitting into the tool... just be careful not to cut edges too much though. Pushing it in hard by force is Not recommended cauz by doing that the glued tip may fall off instantly..

      @@2502860 Well George, the sharpener takes out the "oversized" tip/leather first. Do it slowly, and take it out to check if the tip flushes with the ferrule, takes practice. I've also seen people using masking tape to protect their ferrule so the blade does not take out the ferrule.

    • @2502860

      @@TSBilliards ok kinda figure it out how to do it. The sharpener button is very hard to push in. I cant get to the ferrule. On your video it looks so easy. U don't seem to give any pressure on the button

    • @TSBilliards
      @TSBilliards  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@2502860 George, you do not have to push any button. Just push the shaft into the tool as hard as u can until you hear a click sound that the shaft is stuck into the tool. Then just hold the tool and spin the shaft, no need to press the button (as I've had people that press the button and over-cut the tip/ferrule). No pressure on the button.
