Thank you for this. It did help me personally to have some insights on what really did occur based on your experiences that both of you shared. The things that struck me are transition program, reimbursement, choice of clinical setting and state and visas. Unfortunately, there are no agencies that sponsor PT’s anymore except for Grandison. You can correct me on this. So my question are the following: What options do we have so we can still work in the US? Direct employer available? DPT sponsorship? After you finish your contract, what’s next? Pay rate? Based on your setting. Continuing education? Family sponsorship or petition. Spouse, children. How much do you spend per month? Thank you! More power! 👍👍👍
Thank you for taking time to watch our conversation. Those are good questions. I can answer most of them right away, but give me time to research on the others. I'll get back to you. :D
I don't believe so, sir. Age (40 and over) is a protected category in the US under Equal Employment Opportunity. As long as a PT can fulfill their duties, they can be hired.
Medyo nagbago lang sir kasi before, the 5 year curriculum consists of more units that the credentialing bodies deem it as the same level as a Master's degree. Ngayon, it doesn't meet the requirements for the FCCPT Type 1. Though, there are still some pathways to go work as a PT in the US.
I wish you could have a podcast also about PT’s who graduated with the new curriculum the 4yr course who wants to go to US
That's a great suggestion. Pero isn't it that those who started the 4-yr curriculum just finished this year? Tama ba?

@@PTMEALPodcast Hi there! Did these question got there answer? If so will it be alright for me to ask for them as well? Thank you!
I guess you are pertaining to MMML-Grandison, the agency that hasn't deployed anyone to US at that time.
@@jjlee13 you're correct.
Hello po, is there any age limit applying as a PT from Philippines to USA?

Thank you so much po.
@@PTMEALPodcast the new curriculum in the Philippines offers 4 years course for PT. Malaki pa rin po ba ang chance na maka pag US and become PT sa US?
