    • @PTMEALPodcast

      @@PTMEALPodcast the new curriculum in the Philippines offers 4 years course for PT. Malaki pa rin po ba ang chance na maka pag US and become PT sa US?

    • @PTMEALPodcast
      @PTMEALPodcast 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Medyo nagbago lang sir kasi before, the 5 year curriculum consists of more units that the credentialing bodies deem it as the same level as a Master's degree. Ngayon, it doesn't meet the requirements for the FCCPT Type 1. Though, there are still some pathways to go work as a PT in the US.

      @@PTMEALPodcast no worries .. PT is indeed an evolving profession . yes , the first exam started 2022. also , Some states now have modified their state practice act to allow DPTs to request for diagnostic imaging instead of sending a patient to their primary so an x-ray order maybe written . My dream though is in the future PTs with advanced training will have a limited prescriptive privilege for commonly used meds in rehab and in wound care , that would be awesome but who knows .
