Delicate indifference
An Ambient / IDM track created with a Korg Radias and a Korg EMX-1.
After 14 years using the R3, I finally upgraded to a Korg Radias!
For this track the EMX-1 is running through one of the 4 Radias parts to add additional effects.
I think I might have made the intro run a few bars too long with this one. Let me know what you think! The beat drops at 1:20 for anyone feeling impatient.

Usually older workstations go out of interest and might end up sold rather cheap. That's because there's no vintage hype in an old digital workstations, as what ppl are looking for is the best virtual emulation. Now this being said, a Radias is the type of older ws i could spend a few bux on if i found an interesting bergain, these are defo a usefull swiss knife add on generator to a production studio. And yes, for an electro live sessionist, it's a great centerpiece. These radias they really have something in them that mkes them special, not obsolete for a cent...

I totally agree! The Radias has a lot of utility; good polyphony, multitimbral, lots of built in effects, (I’m still scratching the surface of the built in drum kits too)! I’m also really liking the interface so far! It feels pretty quick to navigate.
I think there’s a certain not vintage but not modern sound to the VAs of the 2000s. It’s also kind of nostalgic to me as someone who grew up in the 2000s. I would love to try an Access Virus at some point. Those cost a bit more though. Haha

It’s a pretty great pairing!
I only got the Radias recently but have had my EMX for several years. When I got the Radias I was surprised how perfectly the EMX fits on the Radias tray.
