As an Asian guy, I'm pretty sure those dislikes are from other Asian guys. It's natural to feel bad about something like this when you first see it. Rejection isn't pleasant, even to guys who are confident and not insecure, they just deal with it better. And I know this might sting a little more because the Russian women in this video are quite attractive. So here is what I think of this:
1. No guy should get his sense of self worth from the validation of others. Even if it's a group of attractive Russian women, like in this video. Sounds idealistic, but it's true nonetheless.
2. I personally know a lot of black guys and have a few black male friends myself. If Russian (or basically white) women like black guys, then I'd be happy for them. Good for them. People are entitled to their preferences, and I certainly wouldn't have anything against black guys just because Russian women prefer them... And I know a lot of Asian guys are in denial, but I don't think you'd need to watch this video to know that white women are into black guys and not really into Asian guys.
3. The world is a big place. There are so many places to go, things to do and women to meet. The only thing I got from this video is that I can cross dating in Russia off the list of all the possible things I can do in life.
4. There are many things that give a man "value." It just so happens that the things of value that are stereotypically associated with black guys are the ones that appeal in dating (especially to white women). I know It's a generalization, but this whole video is pretty much just based on generalizations.
5. Black guys and Asian guys aren't "competing" for white or Russian women. The black male friends I have all prefer black women. The reason why they get with white women is pretty simple tbh... They do it because they can. And as an Asian guy myself, I really haven't met any Asian guy whose "type" is white girls. I personally don't think Asian guys and white girls are attracted to each other in general, but in the media, they only show white women not being attracted to us. I wish they'd show the other side of the equation just to balance things out.
