I read more into it apparantly the reverse speed is slow because it's easier to get it unstuck and there's less gears or parts (im terrible with mechanics) which means less maintenance and cheaper to make. The newer tanks from what i've heard have a faster reverse speed though
@@Tantwo only the t80 tank series have more reverse speed (10kph), t72 and t90 still have the same 4kph in reverse (yes, even the t90m), but the armata have much better reverse speed, and well, that thing is to expensive for them to mass produce it lol

I dont know, as someone who played Red Orchestra since it was a mod for Unreal Tournament in the mid 2000s, and still play Darkest Hour (still updated, played and maintained mod for Red Orchestra, one of the best WW2 games ever), all I wanted was RO3. Quite sad how the whole thing turned out. RO2 is shallow compared to Darkest Hour, but damn it has some of the best sounds, weapon feel, of any game i ever played, very close to Squad. The atmosphere is insane.
5:17 the dude is in the gunner seat, commander would be in the one with the nsv. im assuming he's sticking his head out because all the gunner has is his sight and whatnot
I dont expect devs to work for free, but some of my favourite games/mods from the last 20+ years were made for free and relied on crowd funding, I paid a total of zero dollardoos for the original Red Orchestra. This trailer is still better than the last HLL trailer lmao.
So after nearly 800 hrs of playing, even the RS2 is almost a dead game,but in my heart I still rated RS2 as THE BEST hardcore game I have ever played. Red Orchestra and Rising strom series, had combined the entertaining and hardcore features perfectly from my aspect. That was the most valueable stuff at today cuz it is never an esay job to make balance in between. It might offended somebody but personnally I think SQUAD with ICO update is a perfect example. The Offworld never took any consider about the reality they were just wanna rose the difficulty of aiming so "that would reduce the lone wolf and drag everyone back into team work", they thought.But nothing changed. In a word, I know many of you might feel devastating about the trailer they released, I feel the same too. But I think we need to give them sometimes to, you know, complete these things, especilly with the dismissed of Antimatter Games. I still believed that they will inheritd the style and maybe the mechanism of RS2 or RO2 with some new stff added in, like the vehicle system. So for as I know, they hired some guys previously worked in Offworld to help them designed the vehicle system. It might took a few years so them to published this game, but I think it still worth it.
6:10 also M60 got good old steel armour while T-64 has modern composites, the protection level between M60 and T-64 is uncompareable Also holy shit that WiC modern warfare mod gameplay at the end gave me a nostalgia blast lmao

the '83 right now doesn't have any real developers ever since Antimatter got shut down and laid off by Embracer. the current iteration of the game only has a handful of volunteers so they could put up a trailer for PCgamer show hoping that it will attract a new publisher to fund the game's development. don't expect it to get released in 2025.
