  • If you’re looking for a smart and reliable way to control your accessories on your off-road vehicle, you might want to check out the Garmin PowerSwitch. In this video, I’m going to share with you my 1 year experience with this device, and why I think it’s one of the best products on the market.
The Garmin PowerSwitch is a wireless digital switch box that allows you to remotely operate up to six 12-volt accessories from your compatible Garmin navigator or smartphone. You can customize the labels, icons, and colors of each switch, and create presets for different scenarios. You can also monitor the battery voltage and the status of each accessory from the app or the navigator.
I have been using the Garmin PowerSwitch for a year now, and I have to say, I love it. It has made my life so much easier and safer. I don’t have to worry about running wires through the firewall, installing switches on the dash, or fumbling with buttons in the dark. I can simply use my voice, my phone, or my navigator to turn on and off my lights, winch, air compressor, and other accessories.
The Garmin PowerSwitch is also very durable and reliable. It has a rugged design that can withstand harsh environments, such as dust, water, and vibration. It has a low power consumption and a built-in fuse protection. It has never failed me, even in the most extreme situations.
One of the best features of the Garmin PowerSwitch is that it’s expandable. You can connect up to four PowerSwitch devices to control up to 24 accessories. You can also pair it with other Garmin products, such as the BC 35 wireless backup camera, the Tread powersport navigator, or the Overlander all-terrain navigator.
If you’re interested in getting the Garmin PowerSwitch, I highly recommend you get it from Blaze Offroad. They offer a full kit that includes everything you need to install and use the PowerSwitch, such as the wiring harness, the mounting bracket, the connectors, and the instructions. They also have excellent customer service and support.
So, that’s my 1 year review of the Garmin PowerSwitch. I hope you found it helpful and informative. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them below. And if you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for more off-road content. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next one.

I'm liking this system more and more. I do have the trigger system but I mostly use the app. Don't have a problem with it as of yet, but still considering the Garmin power switch. I do have a question, is there a dimming feature on that system? I ask because on the trigger system app that I have I can dim the lights. Great setup!!

Perfect tech. Can you run lp6 lights in high or low but never sending both hi and low voltage to light at same time?

No you can’t. Mst switching systems on the market do not do that, and Blaze does not recommend wiring them to use both modes as there is such a small use case for low beam.

This is really good information. While I understand the setup for "Tailgating" you need to know your laws concerning bright lights shining from the back of the vehicle.

Haha yeah it’s more of a joke and I would only go that route if I’m doing 15 over and give them a warning with the weaker lights and they keep it up.

Wondering where you are located for winters. How does the extreme cold affect the power switch?

I’m in Colorado and it doesn’t effect them at all

I am presuming it is wired to one battery? So for example i have my spotlights powered by my cranking/start battery and my fridge constantly running from my auxiliary lithium battery. So in this case would you need 2 units?

Why not do one and run your accessories to one battery

You could also maintain your current setup and have the garmin trigger a relay.
