The ending of this game is so beautiful.
Also "We'll go together" is so incredibly powerful considering the ending of KH1. It's one of my favorite lines in the series. Of course, everything else is great too, the letter from Kairi is great and Roxas and Naminé reuniting in spirit is a tearjerker.
And that's why it's the best of the series 👌
The difference between Riku and Sora is that Sora's motive and heart is pure. He's not jealous and accepts that he isn't the best, wishing only for the best in others.

I recently got into the series, and I. Am. HOOKED. The beginning made me laugh, and the end made me smile like never before. I'm wondering why I didn't find this franchise sooner.

It's easier to just claw with one hand, index on triangle and thumb on x, then alternate between the two

I experienced this final boss fight for the first time last week and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. I grew up only playing GameCube games so this learning about this entire series so far has been amazing but this ….this blew my fucking mind.

One of my favorite video game boss fights of all time, and one of my favorite video game endings of all time!!! I love everything about this!!! KH2 will always be my fav Kingdom Hearts game and one of my fav video games of all time!!!

It’s crazy to think how much damage Riku took in this battle first when he fought against roxas roxas damage his hand that’s why he had that bandage on it then when went to save sora against Ansem when he blocked that attack he blocked it with his damaged arm then after that got hit in the face with the lightsaber got hit in the rib with it lifting him up in the air which had to hurt a lot Riku was the MVP this whole fight😂

I really hope in KH4 they bring it full circle and give us more moments like this for the destiny trio again. They got so little development/moments in 3 that even til this day upsets me. Riku would NEVER (with how serious shit was in 3) sit by himself and not spend his last moments with Sora and Kairi when they arrived at the destiny islands. We need the writers from the first and second game to come back or get *SKILLED* writers for characters in KH4, at least for me to care about the series again.

its a very large place with multiple similar margins. riku and sora ended up at margin B while ansem and aqua met at margin A
The Realm of Darkness isn't a world, it's the opposite of the Realm of Light (which is composed of most of the worlds seen ingame, except for Traverse Town, Illusiopolis, Castle Oblivion...), so it might be really vast.
And by the time Aqua arrived at the Margin, at least 1 year has passed since Ansem the Wise was send a second time in the darkness...so possibly 1 year after KH II. They wouldn't have meet at the margin.

Sora had no problem spending a lifetime with Riku in the realm of darkness. You've got to admit it that this scene feels more real and emotional than anything else we've witnessed between Sora and Kairi. In kh3, they toned down this beautiful friendship and prioritised the non existent development and romantic chemistry between Sora and Kairi. I know that it's supposed to be canon. It's just that the writers themselves forgot that it's supposed to be canon and they had to shove as many romantic scenes as they could in a single installment. It felt so out of place. Especially, after the lack of interactions between the trio. I'm not one to get into shipwars, because I don't ship anyone in this series. Friendship and connecting with hearts is the essence of those games. Kingdom hearts 3 did a poor job at it, in my opinion.
