You have a point Mr Carlson!! While Russia's metro station feels like you are entering a beautiful old art museum, China's metro stations look out of this world, very futuristic. In contrast the US metro stations looks like that of a developing country, with graffiti, homeless people sleeping, drag addicts lurking around and heavily infested with rats lol.
As an American who has traveled extensively across Europe, North America, and Latin America, my trip to Moscow last fall stands out as a highlight. The city impressed me with its cleanliness, orderliness, and efficiency. The quality of service and food was exceptional, making Moscow one of my top favorite cities. I am looking forward to revisiting again later this year. Didn’t have not one issue at passport control entering nor departing the country. Met many amazing hospitable people. 🇺🇸🇷🇺💪🏼
I am from Spain and I lived for 5 years in Russia (I studied a physics degree in a city called Kazan. I learnt russian the first year and studied at the university the next 4, both completly for free). The people were incredibly nice. At the beginning I was afraid that given the fact that Spain is in NATO the people would be somehow hostile to me, but nevertheless I was treated so good. Their only reaction to my nationality was simple curiosity and some comments about football. The society is very conservative and respectful. You could be from any country or religion, as long as you don't breake the law and treat them with respect, they will show you respect back 100% of the times. Russians are good people, we don't need war with them, we only have to respect their values and to life in peace .

Respect... Because of this word, German Vice-admiral Kay-Achim Schönbach was paraded on major networks asking forgiveness and laid off afterward. He said that he didn't understand why all this was happening and nothing of it would happen if NATO showed a little respect towards Russia.

I have wanted to visit your country since the autumn of 1989 when they had the Moscow Music Peace Festival there. Music had brought us together back then and your country really started opening up to Westerners after that. I think we could all get along if it weren’t for the world governments trying to “control” everything. I married a Russian man about three years ago. Your people are such a loving people. I wish more people in each of our countries could experience that instead of listening to the media and propaganda.
I'm American. My wife is Russian. I lived in Moscow, on and off, for many years. It's my favorite city in the world, and I always felt safe there. It's clean, respectful, and orderly. Every block has a little park & playground for people to enjoy, and their actual parks are massive forests that you can get lost in. The economic exclusion has been rough for the average person there, but it's still a great city & country. I miss it dearly. The food is also amazing-- especially if you're into sports or bodybuilding.
Ever since Trump took office I have been called communist and every other name you can imagine, all because I won't join the hatred of Russia. I am American and I love what I thought was American freedom. Now I am realizing that people on the left never did love freedom for people who disagree with them. To me that is worse than any kind of communism or nazi socialism because they pretend to themselves that they are democratic. USA was designed to be a constitutional republic. Now we are entering into the phase where name calling is no longer enough. They want violence and imprisonment for people who insist on being free and to make their own choices in life. It will erupt when they think we aren't paying attention.
Moscow? What about the rest of that "great. Country" How many people died while building St Petersburg? Slaves.... How many poeple escaping that wonderfull country....
"The food is also amazing-- especially if you're into sports or bodybuilding." What does this mean? Healthy, high-protein foods are affordable and widely available?
I'm an American. I've been through the whole Moscow Metro many times. I was in Moscow in 1992. It is beautiful, clean and the people are very well behaved. What I really liked in the Metro is the sweet woman's voice that announced every station in Russian that we were about to stop at.
My time in russia I love the metro and public transport system. Over 300 stations in moscow, and every single one of their stations is a work of art. They were absolutely master pieces. In the summer they employee street sweepers to sweep and wash all the monuments in the city. There is little trash in the city, and people got very angry at people for littering. I found the city an absolute dream, and if Texas were ever to stop being my home. Moscow would be the place I would love to call home. Привет друзья! Если я буду переехать в Россию, я буду открывать ресторан о Техаса.
Moscow and St. Petersburg are the most beautiful cities I've seen in my life and I've enjoyed every second in the subway, whilst in the US I did everything to avoid the subway at any cost...
I was born in Armenia when it was part of the Soviet Union. And we were brought up with discipline and taught to have manners and respect towards each other. A huge priority was given to education. 90% of the public on the metro had a book in their hand in Moscow back in the 80's and not much has changed even with the influence of the West and the so called "freedom". An ill mannered and uncultured people were looked down upon. Elite meant to be educated and well mannered. Russians have respect for their homeland, they love their motherland and it's evident in every aspect. I was there during the May 9th parade in 2019 and thousands of people marching for hours towards the Kremlin, not a piece of trash was found on the floor during the entire march. They have etiquette and a sense of responsibility for their country. And yes, the metro stations are like museums and the people keep it as such. We can ALL learn a thing or two in the US from Russians. They are not the enemy the West would like us to believe. Thank you for bringing the world's attention to reality.
Unfortunately, Armenia demolished the monument to Lenin in 1991 and almost destroyed all the industry that the USSR left to it, and in general Armenia looks depressing, but they go to Europe like Georgia, where there is only devastation and EU flags on almost every poleceisky site these are achievements in 30 years
To many people Armenia does NOT look depressive (it is actually the opposite), but you are welcome to express your subjective opinion@@frankshepherd5953

I have been living in Moscow for the past 2 years. Prior to Moscow I had lived in Italy and Austria. I can confirm from my personal experience that Moscow is one of the best and safe cities to live…You can walk outside at 2 am without a shred of fear of being mugged. You have 24/7 working services and Very effective transportation system. 4 mins maximum and the next metro train is in. The beauty of life is you don’t need to be rich or be a higher income earner to have a good , modern apartment to live in…anyone who has visited this city would attest to this. This is the reality our media don’t tell us
Most Americans are as gullible as the Germans from 1933 through 1940. I used to believe that the corporate news media in the United States told the truth but that the news media in other countries lied. Now I am thinking I might have that backwards. The United States is a war mongering nation. When Hitler started the war with Poland, he couldn't come out and say, "I started it." No, he had to say, "The Poles started it." That is about how it is with America--according to the leaders, we are fighting for freedom. Most Americans believed that Russia was evil because it was communist. Now that Russia is not communist, they have to think of other reasons--Russia, in their minds, never quit being evil--the reasons why Russia was evil changed, but Russia remains evil. But the thing is, with the advent of the internet, Americans no longer rely on corporate media for the news, and the independent internet news channels do not report anything that is near like what the corporate media reports.

Good point! Remember when 20 years ago (when supposedly America was more mature and rational) there was a push to rename French Fries as Freedom Fries because France was critical of the US invasion of Iraq? In retrospect at least one thing changed: since 2003 France has become a complete vassal of the USA.

The Metro tunnels are incredible! Great art, but the trains smelled a little from winter clothing. Never waited longer than 2 minutes on weekdays and 5 minutes on weekends for a new train to arrive. I met a begging dog with a fur hat in his mouth with lots of money and no owner in my view. With that much money it had, the dog was being watched closely.

Today the whole world is waiting for America and Russia to start communicating and Tucker is a mediator and hope for a peaceful existence. Sorry. Google translate.
It’s clean, the arts depicted on the walls are beautiful. Orderly, civilized. New York is opposite of everything we saw in Russia. Thank you Tucker for sharing.
Yes, they were. Those paintings and the plaster framework wouldn't last 15 seconds in a train station in the US, and that is just sad. Our city leaders don't seem to appreciate art, but they do encourage graffiti and crime.
@@prot07ype87Honestly in my city a lot of the homeless are former veterans with severe mental health issues. It's so shameful that our country sends people off to fight and die in the Middle East and then doesn't even take care of them when they come back. Our politicians love to talk about the veterans while cutting funding for the VA.
Would you like to raise taxes in the US so that all the public spaces become beautiful? Of course not, since you are a TC fan. Let me guess: you count on either borrowing from the future generations by increasing the national debt, or purely on magic - which one?
I had a Russian flight instructor who grew up in Moscow. She briefly lived in new york as well. I asked her what Moscow was like. She responded: “it’s cleaner, safer, and more beautiful.” She is correct.
I traveled to Russia in 1999 and twice in 2000, and loved the experience. The Moscow Metro was amazing, the sheer beauty, the vast sense of of history, the richness of culture, was thrilling beyond belief. And the people were warm, gentle, humorous, welcoming, generous. When they heard my feeble attempts to greet and speak to them in the limited conversational Russian I knew, they would respond in the little bit of English they knew. This was the case in homes and cabs! It was delightful, and I would love to go again.
The Saint Petersburg train stations were stunning in a similar way. Not to mention how efficient they are. I've been asking the same question for years... When I visited Russia in 2019 I brought 1000 dollars and couldn't spend it. I stayed right in the center of the city, drank excellent wine, had the freshest and most delicious food. Saw amazing sites. And I come back home... Being told how good I have it? It's all a lie. Our country is decaying, and if we don't do something, we will lose it entirely.
The US is the richest country in the world but the money is in the hands of just a handful of people. The US military budget is more than that of the next ten countries COMBINED - and that includes Russia and China! Just imagine if all of the hundreds of billions of dollars spent to keep a pointless war in Ukraine going would have been spent on the US' decaying infrastructure. Half a century ago a visit to to New York was enough to convince anyone that the US was the biggest, brightest, best country in the world. The skyscrapers, the modern amenities, TV, technology, it was all so far advanced compared to other western countries. Now you'd have to go to Peking or Dubai to get that feeling of culture shock.

I visited Moscow in 2013 with my wife. I was absolutely floored by the subway stations! One is a literal art gallery, filled with original works, in oil, on canvas. They date, presumably, from the 30's. No graffiti, no vandalism, no filth, no bums urinating wherever the urge overtakes them. I was particularly taken by the station housing dozens of bronze statues, and how everyone made their way to the statue of a hunter with his sitting dog, and how the dog's knee was kept shiny by the wear of thousands of finger touches each day, for luck. What an amazing city. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience it, for I fear that I may never again see it.
Dear @johngolini332, thanks for a great comment. A little trivia regarding that sitting dog on Ploshad Revolutsii metro station: That dog's parts are shiny because every student in Moscow feels compelled to touch it for luck before their exams. My son's university is located in completely different part of Moscow, but he travels to touch that dog early in the morning before every exam starts. So far it works 🙂

I was in Moscow 2.5 years ago. The Metro (Underground) is beautiful and tidy. Trains with USB charging portals, air conditioning and lots of other modern features. Everyone is respectful to each other, no one is shouting or doing any other nonsense. It was a pleasure to use public transport.
@@Jackrost01 Yes I do remember some old trains too. But it looks like they have more new trains anyway. Speaking of old trains they are clean and tidy too. No air-conditioning and mobile phones charges though. By the way, in London even new underground trains don't have air-conditioning, with some exceptions of course on just a couple lines I think. Oh, also forgot to mention that in Moscow underground you can use a mobile phone. There is a network connection everywhere. I was really surprised by that too. It was not the type of underground that I expected to see.
WOW..if that video does not stop you in your tracks and make you think nothing will. So much respect for Tucker Carlson...what a powerful, thought provoking video that needs to be shared far and wide.
I went to Moscow, too. I saw Vladimir Putin having a threesome with two other men... but he was having performance issues... likely because of all the sobbing. You see, he's quite sad that he's getting his fat ass kicked by the Ukraine... #SAD
👉🏼😎👌👍🏼🤙✌To my Russian brothers and sisters, your country looks 'historically 'incredible, and if the comments are anything to go by, you are a gracious, optimistic, educated, proud and welcoming people. Blessings to you all from an old Kiwi rocker....RESPECT 🖖👍🏼🤙🤘✌🖖😎👈🏼
I'm a bit ashamed to realise that everything Tucker is pointing out - the cleanness, the safety etc - most locals including myself just take for granted. Thank you Tucker
@@LanaLenderMost American cities are like this now. It's because the governors, mayor's etc are all controlled by our deepstate (some shadowy government we didn't elect). Most of our leaders don't do what is in our best interest. The leaders do what's in Globalism's best interest.
Thank you, Tucker Carlson. Moscow, the capital of Russia, is a beautiful and huge city. I have only one thing to say to you Americans. Travel to Russia, it's a very interesting and beautiful country. I can confirm. Greetings from Mongolia.
What visitors to Russia see is only what the power structure wants you to see. But unless you search far and wide, you won't see much of the real Russia which ordinary citizens endure. What is the countryside like? A whole different world.
@@tonyc3282 you have a preconceived conception that no one will ever “explain”. You see it’s like a drug addict ,they can’t get help until they want help…
The bottom line is that the American government and propaganda is blocking you from the truth about Russia in every way possible. If American taxpayers find out what Russia is really like, they will ask uncomfortable questions of their government. That's what this is all about
Yes, you have! Wait till you find out how we, foreigners, fly to Russia to get medical treatment because we can’t afford it in the west. My husband needed a surgery for $25K: my Russian friends took care of everything and he had his surgery done for $800! No health insurance in possession, no Russian citizenship. We just had to pay for our Russian visas, plane tickets $1500 per person, and the $800 fee we had to pay included the surgery itself, anesthesia, a specialist performing anesthesia, pain meds and post surgery stay. That is it! Mother Russia didn’t rip us off but Uncle Sam really wanted to make us go bankrupt
@@julia.mcconnell And for russian this surgery costs zero. Oh .. no not zero, the employer pay some but its payment over your salary not inside it and noone actually see this so its looks like free. (and insurance still works even when you lost you job and stops to pay). For example i did hip replacement for free, as far as i know in USA it costs $14000+
Being in Moscow for just a few hours totally crushed the stereotype of Russian people. We were only there for a 4 hour layover on our way to dulles airport in Washington DC. I was carrying our 1 year old sleeping child and at the place where you put your shoes and belongings in trays to be x-rayed, I accidentally knocked over all the trays so they fell all over the floor, and a thug-looking guy came up to me, saying "it's okay, I help" and he picked up all the trays I had just knocked over. Then a few hours later at the boarding line, baby started crying and people just let us walk to the front of the line. Then after ticket checks, everybody had to take a short bus trip from the airport to the plane, and the bus had no heating or isolation at all in -20 degrees, so a lady came up, took off her scarf and wrapped our baby in it to warm him.
I would not call life in Moscow “a piece of cake” or Moscow itself as a an example of how to build a modern city (far from it in fact and main concern is too much pressure on all infrastructure and ecology, due to very crowded placement of new high buildings, which in most cases even lack underground parking spaces)… But despite everything - there is still humanness in people. This is correct. Russian soul was poisoned in the 90th, but it is far from being defeated ❤
@@Ivan_1986i would call life in Moscow "a piece of cake" starting from a free healthcare to amazing public transportation system to enormous beatiful parks. Moscow is one of a kind, there's not so many cities that you could even compare it.

I lived in Belgium and have worked in my company's office in Moscow. It was shocking to me. I expected to see what had been portrayed to me my whole life as a drab place where everyone keeps their head down to avoid being noticed for fear they'll be arrested. OK, maybe my expectation was a bit overly critical, but what I found was amazing. The people were friendly. There were shops everywhere including Starbucks and Burger King. I'm sure I don't understand their government funding scheme, but they pay much less in Income taxes. It was clean and beautiful. I remember talking to a co-worker and I laughed about the propaganda I received growing up in the US about nuclear bombs. She laughed and talked about gas warfare propaganda about the US. Our wars are among the Rich elite and fought by the working class and poor. It's the people - citizens who pay taxes and support these elites - who are literally used as pawns. Tell biden and all politicians - Republicans, independants, and Democrats - they can shove their wars right up their a$$holes!!!!!!! P.S. - DON'T BELIEVE WHAT THEY TELL YOU ABOUT UKRAINE. Zelensky has banned an entire religious group, cancelled all elections and is living quite well versus his bombed out half dead citizens. You are a complete sucker if you believe anything our government tells us these days!!
@rjrotermund You insult the Ukrainian "bombed out half dead citizens". Are you a complete idiot or just a half wit? Who do you suppose is responsible for those "bombed out half dead citizens? Can't guess? It begins with Putin and ends with Russian military.
I was in Moscow in 2014 for few days and it was amazing actually! Western media keeps saying bs - back then was this thing with “Russia food shortages” - i went in every shop was loaded with food and people were enjoying live perfectly!!! 😅
Yeah, tons of food. But what lil Tuck Tuck doesnt mention when he did his little shopping stunt is that spending $100 a week on food like he did would be 100% of the average Russians monthly salary...

In 2005 I was presented the opportunity to go to Erasmus student exchange programme. My father insisted that i choose Russia, he thought that studying Russia, experiencing the social life there would open a lot of doors for me. My school on the other hand, despite offeirng Russia as one of the options, openly discouraged students from going. We were bombarded with propaganda of how dangerous and wild it is there. In the end i fell victim to the propaganda and chose a very boring destination. To this day i regret not having chosen Russia for my exchange programme. Moral of the story is, never judge a place by the bias of people WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE. Either learn it from people who have truly been there or go and see it for yourself before forming an opinion.

My wife is Russian. We went to Moscow for the Christmas Holidays. What Tucker says is true. The metro is ultra modern and clean. There are 4 USB chargers per seat, you can pay with your bank card, the floors are clean etc.. has nothing to do with the New York Metro which is a dumpster. As a matter of fact, Moscow in its entirety is clean. People don't throw their cigarette butts on the ground and cleanup after themselves. No drug addicts or beggars on the streets. No street gangs. It sounds unbelievable but it is true
In fact, cigarette butts are sometimes thrown on the ground and sometimes I even have to make a remark. And in addition to a bank card, we can pay for purchases by face or phone using a QR code or using the Russian contactless payment system.
My daughter went to Japan last year and she found the same thing. The cleanliness, no homeless and no graffiti. No pushing and shoving in public transportation. The city was clean. No garbage anywhere. You don't dare throw anything anywhere but in a trash receptacle. She flew back into LAX and then drove home to Vegas from there. She was so embarrassed and so disgusted by what she experienced when she got into LAX. It was dirty, it stunk and there were homeless everywhere. Was a real eye opener to her.
I feel embarrassed every time I fly into Boston and now the airport is full of invaders. The airport in Dallas, Texas when I flew there twenty years ago was clean and well maintained. The airport in Jacksonville, Florida was clean and well maintained, but the airport in Boston was disorganized, and the people flying into Boston all looked like they were nuts.

Why any one in Russia will rename it ?

Good point! Remember when 20 years ago (when supposedly America was more mature and rational) there was a push to rename French Fries as Freedom Fries because France was critical of the US invasion of Iraq? In retrospect at least one thing changed: since 2003 France has become a complete vassal of the USA.

Was there for the 2018 world cup. Beautiful city and people. Nothing how the media portrays it.
That was a great summer, wasn’t it? I remember meeting Ian Wright, an Arsenal legend, who told me that he fell in love with a city and he’d come back next year with his wife so she could see Moscow too. And whenever you talk to a cab driver here in Moscow, they all get nostalgic about the World Cup, especially because of the number of orders by tourists 😂
Hope you’re having a great day
I watched this and immediately had to show my wife. All I could say about it to her was how saddening it was to see such beauty in a public system that we don't have here

The Metro tunnels are incredible! Great art, but the trains smelled a little from winter clothing. Never waited longer than 2 minutes on weekdays and 5 minutes on weekends for a new train to arrive.

But not every trains a new. They are expensive to change. So it will be long procces when all trains will transform into new
@@Jackrost01 начиная с 2011 года в Москве построили ещё 114 станций метро, на 72 процента выросло число новых составов поездов на лето 2023 года.

@@tonyc3282 Gavin Newsom went over there and cleaned up the subway knowing Tucker was going to film it.
I’m 59 years old and I’ve recently come to realize that I have been lied to my whole life.
Me too. Once you realize it, you wonder how you didn’t realize it earlier.
Definitely a FeelsBad moment.
I would not call life in Moscow “a piece of cake” or Moscow itself as a an example of how to build a modern city (far from it in fact and main concern is too much pressure on all infrastructure and ecology, due to very crowded placement of new high buildings, which in most cases even lack underground parking spaces)…
But despite everything - there is still humanness in people. This is correct.
Russian soul was poisoned in the 90th, but it is far from being defeated ❤

Either learn it from people who have truly been there or go and see it for yourself before forming an opinion.

There are 4 USB chargers per seat, you can pay with your bank card, the floors are clean etc.. has nothing to do with the New York Metro which is a dumpster.
