Captain Marvel didn't "resist the gauntlet's force". She held his fingers apart so he couldn't use the gauntlet, just like Captain America had done in 'Infinity War'. Iron Man also fired a device into Thano's palm to hold his fingers apart so he could not use the stones. Thanos momentarily noticed Danvers' strength, then KO'ed her with a power stone to the face. No fear at all. He actually seemed more surprised in 'Infinity War' when Steve had held the gauntlet open.

The Dr Strange's butterfly spell.. some people just brush it off saying "it's the first time Thanos saw butterflies that's why he's scared of them..". Nooo.. he was trying to snap out of it. If you pay attention to Strange's spell, the way the butterfly spell actually works is, he shows them an illusion of their most deepest desires and let them succumb to it and lost themselves in that illusions, or get them while they let their guards down.. fact check this if you want. We saw him used it on Captain Carter, and, on himself (as in, supreme Strange used it on his other half/other self). I believe Thanos was trying to fight out of it/snapping out of it.. but then again,he had the reality stone which could erase all that the moment he know they're not real. But even without the stone, he'd snap out of it without much effort since it's a strong mind/will and not body/physical strength it takes to overcome it.. which is what i think we were seeing when we see Thanos change his facial and behavioral patterns changing the moment Dr Strange cast 'the butterflies spell'.

The Avengers always knew Wanda was powerful, but tried to keep it in check. One of the best scenes is Okoye’s response when Wanda stops one of Thanos massive vehicles. “Why was she up there!?”
In the movies, he feared: 1.Odin - he waited until Oden had died to commence his campaign 2. Wanda - he was outmatched and paniked so much that he had to call in help that would even hit his own army. In Chess thats a check in 6 moves. 3. The Hulk - in the movies they reduced and downplayed it, however in the comics he acknowledged as much. That's my opinion.... 🤷🏿♂️
Thanos definitely feared Tony the most. He saw the potential Tony had to destroy him all the way back in Infinity War and he was the only Avenger, besides Thor, to make the Mad Titan bleed. Tony was always his kryptonite since the very beginning.

After being one of the few beings to ever land H2H blows on Thanos, in Wakanda with dual shields, he held the Gauntlet and it was now responding to 2 EXTREMELY STRONG WILLS and Thanos was unable to use that arm so punched Steve with his other arm. Then in EG he was wrecked by Worthy Cap with his skill & power, breaking his Helmut. Thanos cutting the shield in half weakened it and is why it broke when Wanda attacked later, it breaks in the same location that hit the shield.

Thanos fears no one. This is a weak portrayal of the real Titan sucks. It was interesting to see how they would portray him. This pales in comparison to how he truly strong and mad he really was. He would've laughed at Wanda and back handed Ms. Marvel into submission. you can't have thanos's real power in a movie, it would be boring, basically 10 minutes of him pummeling everone, not exceptions. when you see (in the movie) thor's axe overpowering the stones, yeah, you know they made him a weakling.
Don’t know if he ever had fear in his eyes but if it was any of these it was when stark got the stones. But it looks more like disbelief and shock. For in this moment, he was coming to the realization he had failed. I think it was more disbelief that his will wasn’t the strongest but the will of a mortal to not go so gently that undid his plans.

Wanda was the scene that got my attention. I'd heard in the comics she was s-tier, but that never translated to the screen until her Thanos revenge scene.

Odin and the Hulk come to mind (despite how the MCU bastardized the latter). Thanos' plan hinged on Odin not being present to stop him, before he enacted his master plan. You can say 'Odin is not an Avenger', and while this is correct, the All-Father could've stopped him, before he could finish collecting all of the infinity stones. The Hulk (at least the comic version) is a hero with, what I describe as 'possessing no upper limit in strength'; the longer he is in combat, the stronger and aggressive he becomes. This means that the longer Thanos is in a fistfight with Hulk, the more the odds would be stacked against him. Thanos is aware of this, and usually approaches him with great caution.

If you pay attention to Strange's spell, the way the butterfly spell actually works is, he shows them an illusion of their most deepest desires and let them succumb to it and lost themselves in that illusions, or get them while they let their guards down.. fact check this if you want. We saw him used it on Captain Carter, and, on himself (as in, supreme Strange used it on his other half/other self).
I believe Thanos was trying to fight out of it/snapping out of it.. but then again,he had the reality stone which could erase all that the moment he know they're not real. But even without the stone, he'd snap out of it without much effort since it's a strong mind/will and not body/physical strength it takes to overcome it..
which is what i think we were seeing when we see Thanos change his facial and behavioral patterns changing the moment Dr Strange cast 'the butterflies spell'.

After being one of the few beings to ever land H2H blows on Thanos, in Wakanda with dual shields, he held the Gauntlet and it was now responding to 2 EXTREMELY STRONG WILLS and Thanos was unable to use that arm so punched Steve with his other arm.
Then in EG he was wrecked by Worthy Cap with his skill & power, breaking his Helmut.
Thanos cutting the shield in half weakened it and is why it broke when Wanda attacked later, it breaks in the same location that hit the shield.

He would've laughed at Wanda and back handed Ms. Marvel into submission. He threw Wolverine through a wall, skewered Spider-Man with a pole, smashed Thor into pieces, choked out the Hulk to death with one hand etc, etc, etc, etc. He even killed off the GODs, killed off Galactus, destroyed Infinty and made everything in the cosmos beg for death. you can't have thanos's real power in a movie, it would be boring, basically 10 minutes of him pummeling everone, not exceptions. when you see (in the movie) thor's axe overpowering the stones, yeah, you know they made him a weakling.
Don’t know if he ever had fear in his eyes but if it was any of these it was when stark got the stones. But it looks more like disbelief and shock. For in this moment, he was coming to the realization he had failed. I think it was more disbelief that his will wasn’t the strongest but the will of a mortal to not go so gently that undid his plans.

Watching Thanos yank the power stone out of the glove to deck Captain Marvel with it was the biggest gangster move MCU history.

Thanos' plan hinged on Odin not being present to stop him, before he enacted his master plan. You can say 'Odin is not an Avenger', and while this is correct, the All-Father could've stopped him, before he could finish collecting all of the infinity stones.
The Hulk (at least the comic version) is a hero with, what I describe as 'possessing no upper limit in strength'; the longer he is in combat, the stronger and aggressive he becomes. This means that the longer Thanos is in a fistfight with Hulk, the more the odds would be stacked against him. Thanos is aware of this, and usually approaches him with great caution.
