Sounds like the daughter of the first story is more mature. She didnt really agree with the rules so she decided not to go to the house because she didnt like the rules. If anything thats the logical thing to do.

    • @13nLen
      @13nLen 3 ปีที่แล้ว +127

I kinda feel it's her house so she has the right to say what will go on and what won't , the daughter also has the right to disagree with those rules. I don't feel the mother is psycho however it's just she has her morals that she wants to uphold, like if your against smoking weed why would you let some one in your house smoke it, its your house

@@13nLen well, using your example, the person who smokes decides to not go to your house if they can't smoke, which is pretty reasonable.
Now taking the mom's way of thinking into this scenario, you'd be upset that they don't visit as often as you'd like and think they just don't want to spend time with you. It's like thinking "why do the guys that smoke a lot don't come here to visit the place where they are specifically prohibited of doing something they enjoy? I mean, it's not far fetched to prohibit someone to smoke in my property so they probably just don't want to spend time with us right?"
As you can see, the mom fails to realise that the rules that they impose are what is turning then away from visiting more often because she thinks that the rules are something everyone 100% agrees with, so there should be no problem in following them. Although the guests do agree to follow them, they do not agree that those rules should be there, so they avoid going to the place where they are imposed, as to not have to follow them
Also this comparison isn't the best because smoking affects the smoker and the people around them, whilst sleeping together only really affects only the people that are in the same bed lol, so requesting to not do one or the other isn't really the same

The second story... She's not the AHole.
It was a pretty tense situation where both solutions would have created some problems.
I'm gonna disagree with "Leaving the children alone at home and rushing to Alice" :
-If the oldest 10yo was panicking like crazy just to explain the situation, do you really think she would be able to take care of the others? Not even accounting if the young ones have bad behaviors.
-She doesn't know for how long she would be gone. 30 minutes to maybe multiple hours. Totally possible.
-She attempted to call multiple people that are close and can take care of them but none responded (except for the friend at the end). No one could make sure of the other kids security.
Now imagine how the family would have reacted if she just left the children alone at home. Pretty sure they would have been mad at her for letting children by themselves at home for an undisclosed amount of time.
Basically, she was screwed whatever she chose to do. Not the AHole for me.

      2) Thousands of things could have gone wrong in that time:
      - she could spend next 2,5 hours in hospital
      - she could get into accident and need medical help herself

Honestly that car accident made total sense to me. If my twelve year old daughter got hit by a car, (and i was aware that someone was there and calling an ambulance), I would probably not leave a two year old child alone, not in the hands of a 10 year old. Also, she would have no idea how long it would take until she could leave Alice and get back to the kids. Half an hour? Okay, they might be fine. But two or three? I doubt a 10 year old knows how to take care of a child that's barely potty-trained. In that case I probably would have made the same decision, blood relative or not. If anything, the fact that she was less panicked is probably a good thing, panic can make people reckless, imagine she did rush to the scene immediately, left the kids to their own devices, and they'd be alone for a few hours. Anything could happen, no one is there to help if any of them get hurt.

The kid can hurt themselves, I’ve seen it. Leaving 3 in their is even worse than one.
My little brother shows me that because he is extremely, and dare i say it, smart.
Going to the hospital takes hours at the least. You can’t be gone for that long.

In defense of the mother in the second story. She did the right thing. You cannot leave a ten-year-old responsible for younger children, especially a two-year-old. They would have no idea what to do or the capabilities to do anything if somethibg happened to one of the others while Mum was gone. A lot of ten-year-olds still needs a babysitter to take care of them if a parent is not around.

Bigger problem might be ,,post-nut clarity"
I think you know the concept - boy thinks he loves the girl, that she's beatiful, and after 15 minutes alone with her in bedroom he tells her to get out of her life. When you're in marriage, this theoretically shouldn't happen - you've been together for such long time, you managed to get over many obstacles already, and instead of hating together mutually until you land on Churchill's quote¹, you know you have to find something and get over it. And here are some comebacks for some arguments against marriage:
      1) _,,I don't need a paper to show that I love my girlfriend"_ - if this ,,paper" is so meanigless to you, why are you so afraid of signing it? For you it will be nothing more than a big family dinner with some time for you and your partner afterwards.
      2) _,,Wedding is just a big waste of money"_ - how about gifts you bought and dating eachother in general? You literally spent a lot of money on stuff your partner probably doesn't even need, just to show you care about him/her, so why are you so upset with idea of family dinner dedicated solely on you telling how much you love your partner?

@@Admiral45-10 1. Just like some people marry for religious reasons, other don't want to marry for religious reasons. It's nothing deeper than just a personal choice or a belief that there is no need for the government to be involved in your relationship
      2. Giving gifts isn't comparable to a wedding. At all. Even if you go for a cheaper one it will cost thousands, if not tens of thousands, lots of time, stress and preparation. Even if you buy each other like 5$ gifts every week it's not the same as spending 10000$ in one day. Just because the money adds up over time means nothing. You have to save to have a wedding, buying a 5$ requires no savings, no preparations, no huge obligations
There are plenty of ways to express love that doesn't involve a huge government-related religious-tied ceremony which the price of is always atronomically higher than it needs to be because the businesses get a lot of money from exploiting vulnerable people. I would argue having a relationship for years without marriage is more meaningful than with one-you are essentially financially, legally and economically tied and if you have to be so dependent on each other to just stay together is it really worth it?

      1)
      a) Which religion would prohobit marriage between two consencious adults?
      b) All it does is slightly changing legal status. What's so bad or ,,taking away freedom" about it?
      2)
      a) But in this case you'll still be buying them for eachother. It is cheaper to some point, but not forever.
      b) Average cost of wedding in Poland is about 13 thousand USD. If you're gonna stick to this ,,5 USD present a week", in a little over 49 years you're gonna reach that amount. Which means, that, taking into consideration average age of getting into relationship (15), you're gonna be 64 by that point - and male life expectancy in Poland is about 74 years.
So, in your own case, statistical person who never married his girlfriend will spend more money, than his statistical friend who did.
      c) But once you do you don't spend money anymore. You have common bank account and apartament, so you also save on bills.
You know what? I won't throw basless claims. I'll prove it mathematically: average price of apartament per square metre in Poland is about 1328 USD. Imagine your girlfriend lives in apartament of 63,7m² (average apartament size in Poland). After moving to your place and selling it you would get over 84 580 USD - so, over 6 times more than cost of the wedding. I'm not even counting bills (e.g. electricity or water).
      3) Again - what's with all this government? What even is this ,,government" you're reffering to? What are your concerns, that you'll see your wife's name in your document, or that hospital will call her when you're gonna have an accident? Because that's literally the only way this affects you legally and how much government is ,,involved".

Also with the thing she said about favoring her biological daughter was kinda rude but I see what she meant because with her she has a mother and daughter bond and maybe she doesn't have that with the other kid so she doesn't feel the same ANYWAYS she still would've been in the same predicament. But I don't blame the daughter for not wanting to stay, and I think the moms belief is stupid but that's just me. I just think the moms whole idea of her daughter not being able to share a bed with her partner until marriage is kinda disrespectful to the daughter's relationship. It's like the mom thinks that the daughter's relationship isn't important or serious enough until they get a dumb legal contract that states the obvious: that they love each other. I'm not completely against marriage, I just think that in order for two people to love each other they don't need some stupid contact to prove it. Sure, they can easily just suck it up and just sleep in separate beds for a few days, but if that was my mom, I'd mostly just be upset that she doesn't believe my relationship and love for my parter is important and means enough.

And that’s just some of the things that I know she did according to my parents she’s done worse things then that. That’s why we don’t talk to her anymore

@@Feezee223 as I said: I understand that (I'm really far from making definitive judgements just on first glance), and I'm not saying you should ignore it just because she's your grandmother - but do you really think it's that right to leave an old lady alone in autumn of her life?
Let me tell you a story: in the block my grandfather currently lives in, there's an old lady that is always talking to random strangers as much as she can. On the first glance you'd just say: ,,what a tiresome woman, why won't she leave me alone?" - but reality is, she was doing this because she was just very lonely.
This is a really sad story - I don't know all details, but from what my grandparents (who live there) told me, that her husband died and family pretty much forgot about her existance - never visited her and didn't really care that much for her, and, as my grandmother told me, that's how old person behaves in old age.
Why everyone left her? I honestly don't know - maybe she was a tiresome lady, and maybe she was mean (or was the same monster as your grandmother), but from the perspective, her life is really sad.
Now let me ask you something - how often do you think about your relatives' death? Not only your one, but also your closest relatives and friends (that your mom, dad, or best classmate, will die at some point). If I were to guess, your grandmother is the closest to reaching this stage of life from all of them (or maybe not, I don't know), so do you really think you've told her everything you wanted to tell her? If you have a slight feeling from time to time, that maybe you should reconnect with her, better do it - you never know how much time you have left, and you can never get wasted time back.

A femboy is a person, typically under the age of 30 years, who is biologically male. However, this person will often present himself in a very feminine manner. This behavior may be exhibited part of the time, or all of the time.
Femboys are not to be confused with ladyboys, who are a type of Asian male to female transsexual.
Femboys are also different from cross-dressers. Despite being feminine, femboys do not necessarily wear clothing designed for females, but this is very common.
The fact that one is a femboy says nothing about one's sexuality. Femboys may be straight, gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, or of any other sexuality.
It is also not necessarily indicative of one's gender identity. A femboy may still identify as male, or he may wish to be identified as female. However, it is common for femboys to be bigender.

I think the last one she wasn’t at fault. Pegasus maybe hasn’t been in charge of young kids before, I’ve babysat and been a lifeguard for a while, and I can say for sure, if kids are left all alone they will find a way to hurt themselves. As someone trained in first aid, the most important thing you must do before helping an injured person is to make sure the scene is safe, since two emergencies at once is worse than one, especially if you are incapable of even helping stop the first emergency.

In the 2nd one, the mom also had 2 of her nephews, a 3 and 5 year old I believe, and I’m sure a 10 year old girl and maybe the 8 year old boy could not handle such responsibilities as if I was 10 I could not handle such responsibilities. Personally I think the mum in the 2nd story is not an a-hole bc there really wasn’t a whole lot to do and her Jeff understood the situation and said it was okay to her
