Once I heard this song, it IMMEDIATELY became my favorite song! It's everything that I absolutely LOVE in a song combined into one thing! Sound, lyrics, guitar playing, drum skills, and the way that they mix it behind the scenes! SOOOO EFFING BEAUTIFUL! 😍😍😍😭
This song brings tears to my eyes....I feel like it's about depression. I have seen the ways it kills the soul of another human and it's a fucking terrible sight. When a person hates themselves it's like they have another person inside their heads telling them they're not good for anything and they just want to die but don't have the strength to commit :'(
I think what I love the most about these collaborations is how they manage to make each song sound like a mix of each band. Not just BMTH with a vocal from another singer, but an actual integration of each band's sound into one song. You can hear the other band in each of these collabs and it's just so much more epic that way.
BMTH aren't scared to be emotional, to be vulnerable, and to show off dark feelings. It's really good though because it hopefully helps them get those feelings out AND makes listeners who feel that way feel like they aren't alone.
