Mentioned this on Twitter before a year or so ago, but I slept to DYKG videos while watching my newborn in the living room, while mama slept in the bedroom.
The tv gave enough light to see the baby, and the talking was calming to doze to. Those were a few sleepless nights, but I look back on them fondly. Thank you!

I see a "to fall asleep to" video, I work out. Listening to music for 1-2 hours gets boring, but these videos keep me going. I tend to get lazy too and put off working out, but the second I see a new upload it's like a wake up call, MKultra type stuff 😂

I am glad that we have gotten so many iconic characters, but yeah, it does make me sad that these many forgotten characters never got a real chance.
If the studios were smart they’d notice the lack of good original games a lot of these forgotten characters could be repurposed to create some great new games

I had no idea Waluigi was originally proposed to Nintendo by Camelot. Mario Power Tennis on the GameCube was one of my favorite games to play with my cousins when we where at family gatherings, so this just makes me appreciate Camelot's work even more.

I had no idea that it was originally Camelot Studios that pitched the idea of Waluigi to nintendo, not waluigi being created in-house! Thank you camelot! Also, I really think having a wario/waluigi-esque princes to complete the trio, and definitely open up a lot more doors mario story-wise would have been a great idea

Oh yeah! I forgot about Aria in Ocarina of Time. They've fully restored her model at this point using programs like Utility of Time along with custom models that you can inject into the game and replace Link's model. She even had a gun instead of a bow, and some of her other animations were different than Link's. I personally though it was strange but I'm sure people use it. There's a surprising amount of model swaps out there for both OOT and MM which isn't something I ever expected.
