- A bucket list truck for me, since being corrupted from a very young age. Saw one dwarfing a Lunchbox and have never forgotten. This one was a nice birthday present from my wife. Finally, after 35 odd years I own one! (I would have been around 10 years old when the Clod was released. I probably didn't discover it until a few years later of course.

i was a young man in my early twenties when i received one of these original releases as a Christmas present from my girl friend . the best present ever ! i still have it ! and the little woman and i are still together !

I really enjoyed hearing your story about the fabled car shop with the RC cars, and the adventure you went on to see it in person! The whole experience is so relatable and reminds me so much of my own childhood. Can't wait to see the build as it progresses. A splash of hot pink will look fantastic on it in my opinion, and is quite fitting for an 80's monster truck!
