Bio: Leonardo Torres was raised Catholic and left the church at age 18 after being threatened to be kicked out for asking questions about the bible concerning his grandfather's death. He identified as an Atheist for 12 years and spent that time actively arguing with street preachers, witnesses and anyone else who brought up religion. At age 30, he had a strong encounter with God that made him drop his Atheist title and he became a free follower of GOD which he calls, "The Great Spirit". Taking God seriously and following Him wherever He leads him, Leonardo started this TH-cam Channel reaction to music as a "Non-Christian" musician reviewing Christian music. Through the music and the stories he began to learn more about Christ and considers himself a Student of Christ. Having been lost and now found, this channel is like a lost and found for lost sheep, Leonardo's goal is to create a safe space where God can find those who are yearning for Him.
Leonardo wants to remind followers of Christ to love one another as they were commanded. He is a man on a mission to spread the love of God to everyone that comes to this channel. My husband and I got to be in the crowd at the feeding of the 5000. It was amazing to be there! I just love this episode in every way! May be the best ever!
This was absolutely my favorite episode of the Chosen.. the boat scene with Simon and Peter left me in a puddle of tears.
You said, "Jesus walks on top of the things that drown us" This. This. Beautiful.
If you’ve ever been in a storm in your life, crying that same prayer… this scene will wreck you. The story never affected me before this portrayal. I was a crying mess when I saw it.

At some point, God lets you fall, but remember one thing, that He will not let you drown. He will stretch out His hand to you, all you have to do is grab His hand.
Shmuel referenced Job when talking with Jesus. Eden also is quoting Job when she says God "gives and takes away." The Chosen is telling us to notice Job! Job says of God in 9:8: "He alone stretches out the heavens, And treads on the waves of the sea" ... this description of God is why Jesus had to walk on water.
Thank you Leonardo, “God walks on the things that drown you” as of this week I’ve given up my hurt, my pain and my anger from my past. I’ve given it all to Him and pray with Simon “don’t let me go”. I’m letting go of my fear and doubt and trusting God tonight as my newborn grandson has to have a CT scan of his head to see if there is a problem. ALWAYS "hitting the nail on the head". You hit me HARD, when you said that "God walks on the water" of our lives. It took a couple of re-watches to realize that it was Dasha, Eden's mom, who went with her to the temple and later it is both Dasha and Salomi who walk her into the water.
Both Eden and Simon are being cleansed at the same time...BEAUTIFUL, just BEAUTIFUL. His footsteps were unseen, because we're so deeply troubled and hurts - they're unseen to us, BUT THEY'RE THERE, ready "to walk on our pain, heartaches and challenges we face on a daily basis"!!! BEAUTIFUL!!
I have been following you for a couple of years now, came across your feed and was curious that you were a non Christian,I watched as I seen God work in your life!that night you were doing the song about “so will “I, I looked over and saw my 3year old grandson with his hands in the air,eyes closed,worshiping!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CHOSEN! I have watched it at least 50 times, I LOVE how you discuss it,and how much empathy you have for people! When you lost it when the woman with the issue of blood was healed, I was so moved by that. The way you analyze the show is very heartfelt.thank you for doing this,you have been an inspiration to me!
