      Machado is and will always be mlbs dirtiest players. He basically ended Dustin’s career with the side into 2nd then kicking Dustin in the side of the knee. Never the same. Machado out to get drug tested like his drug busted teammate Tatis Jr. See ya jr. no one likes a cheat.

    I'm friends with a guy who until very recently played catcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks's AAA team. He played a few MLB games, including two against the Padres and Dodgers when Machado played for them. He said Machado does really stinky farts in the batter's box. That is nasty.

    As a kid in Cleveland I remember people would go to games regularly expecting Albert Belle to fight someone. It could have been anyone- opponent, coach, ball boy, hot dog guy, fan. God it was so much fun. Machado has nothing on Belle.

    Saw a minormleage game he was in. Had already been up, but was down again for a short while. He had a call go against him, threw a tantrum, he threw bats on the field, game delayed for 10 or 15 minutes because of him. Egomaniac

    Am an Orioles fan because I'm from Baltimore. Watched Manny come up. Outrageously talented, but came to dislike him. When you play dirty, you don't respect the game. If you don't respect the game, you don't really love the game. Anyway, I was glad to see him go, good as he is. He's a head case. Wouldn't want him on our team.

    The fact that he hurt players with his questionable slides should have brought suspensions . There were many that were bad but luckily no injury but for me there was always intent. It really sucks that he could end the career of Pedroia who played extremely hard but never dirty.

      Machodo's slide on Pedroia started the streak of injuries that led to his retirement. Pedroia's health took a turn for the worse after that and I blame Machado mostly.

    Machado going to SD has been one of the best things for his attitude (that’s the best word I can think of). It’s put him in a veteran team leader role, which has drastically changed the way he acts.

    One of the better second baseman I ever saw on the diamond mentioned that he just waited to turn a double play against ass hats. The next time the situation presented itself he wanted the first baseman to set the target low and to the right of first base. And he'd line up on that spot and throw a 95 mph strike - or, set thar throw into the upper torso of the guy trying to take him out at second. All it took was one toss to the chops and retribution was sweet...

    I got into it with ARod in his Mariner days in Chicago vs White Sox it was actually hilarious. He had a dirty slide into 2nd and he reached 3rd, I had 1st row right at 3rd base and yelled at him about his dirty slide and he was visibly pissed..never the less a bit later he smashed a HR that had to be one of the longest ever lol and pointed me out turning 3rd base... to bad he went all diva long after that

      The people who said that were Dodger fans. Because when Manny was traded to the dodgers in 2018 Manny didn't do anything in the 2018 World Series. He pretty much wasted the time for that. And when he went to the Padres he hasn't been dirty in a while. The last time he ever played dirty was in 2019

      Honestly if Ventura didn’t die he would be the dirtiest, Manny’s interaction with him shouldn’t have been on this video. Ventura deserved to get the crap knocked out of him several times. This guy used to throw 99 right at the batters head several times hr used to always get KC into altercations and he showed no signs of stopping before his tragic accident.

    A lot of these kids look up to these MLB players as an example of what they want to be. When they grow up, it’s a shame these players don’t live up to that, they are so disappointing and this is the reason why I’m turning against baseball

      When I was at game 1 of the 2018 World Series when they announced Manny Machado it was one of the loudest I’ve heard a crowd, I hate Machado, he ended one of my favorite players career, Dustin Pedroia

      I don't like Manny Machado. I think he's a dick, but I don't think he's a dirty player anymore. This past season when he played against my Dodgers I was enraged when he would steal hits from third or in the shift, but I can't dismiss that he's got skill and I respect that. However he's still a dick who I want to see go 0 for 4. So I guess it's like Reggie Jackson said fans don't boo nobodies.

    MLB needs to start punishing pitchers the same way they punish the batters. A pitcher throws at someone's head, season long suspension no questions asked. A pitcher throws at a batter more than once in a single at-bat, 10 games. And I don't mean 10 games for the team, I mean the pitcher is out for 10 games they would have played in. Starters would be out for half the season.

    imagine 5-10 fastballs zipping towards your kneecaps and head and tell me you won't get mad. That slide on pedroia was definitely unintentional, the worst thing I think is the foot step on first base, pretty trashy. The slide towards the end of the video......well.... with the amount of reaction time to seeing where the ball went, you could either run straight into the guy or clip his shoulder with a tackle, or you take a heater to the face from point blank, OR you slide and hope you go slow enough not to hurt them. I think he made the right call there
