Dearest Rod, Thank you for the forecast. We all truly appreciate it a lot. Thank you, and take care, and have a wonderful evening. From West Salem, Oregon
As I used to say in my youth... "Reap the wild winds..!" But these days is is more like bring me another tea my love and kick that heat up a bit would ya?.. Carry on my friend.. I truly appreciate all of those great forecasts.. It helps me remember all of those vaunted days of youth..
Thanks for the update, Rod. The NWS has revised their hydrologic forecast down a bit this afternoon. Still in line with your video. I occasionally query Echo devices for current conditions or the day's forecast. But it does project anticipated rainfall accumulation over the next 7 days. Late yesterday evening, it was projecting 2.75" for the 7 days for Hillsboro. This morning it has dropped to 0.86". Quite a shift. I think it pulls its info from AccuWeather. Should be interesting to see how this all plays out. Been following you since before your move to KGW.
@@Fox250R Not sure where I ever said that was a lot of rain over 7 days. I just noted the shift. However, the NWS is indicating there is a 10% chance of 10" of rain on the coast, the Coast Range and Cascades; and 3.5" in the valley. All on already saturated land. From Tuesday night through Friday. With those relatively warm rains melting the accumulated snow below 7,000 ft. With the help of gravity, quickly filling rivers etc.
@@fomfom9779Sorry didn’t mean you. More about the local news media around town hyping this thing up and it turns into a dud. Typical Oregon weather I guess
Thanks Mr. Hill, now we can plan our wet week.

2.75 for a week is nothing! I’m having a real hard time understanding why everyone is freaking out over this.
